Emeralds are the birthstone for May but they're incredibly expensive. As I walked past Morgan Jewelers in Clackamas Town Center, its open layout made it easy to browse. I approached Martee and asked her if there was a lower-cost emerald option for a gift I had in mind. She was upbeat and welcoming and showed me a manufactured-emerald necklace that was exactly what I hoped for, and well within my purchase envelope. She told me how manufactured emeralds are produced and did a wonderful job of packaging the necklace. It's perfect - the recipient wore it with a light green sweater and it practically glowed. It's easy to be shy about jewelry since good settings are expected to be expensive, but nothing is impossible unless you don't try. My thanks to Martee as my customer representative and to the manager for setting an environment where Martee felt free to give me the personal attention I needed for my purchase.

I was very impressed!! I came into the mall feeling nervous and unsure as it was my first time looking for engagement rings. While browsing, I was assisted by a lovely woman who was working. Jennifer took the time to listen to my love story and helped me understand all of the cut and band options for this very important purchase. It was a relief to not feel pressured but treated as a friend. I was also nervous about pricing but she went over some of the financing options that were available which put my mind at ease.
