phenomenal antique shop with SO many treasures inside. I feel their prices are fair and you need to be willing to take time to look through everything they have there but for me that’s part of the fun of it. A huge space that is completely filled and I have found so many perfect vintage items here. 10/10 in my book!
I’ve been back to capital city 3 times, a total of 4. The first two visits I thought I had been over charged. The receipts provided are not detailed & they remove all price tags. I shrugged it off like I made the mistake. The third visit I took pictures of every item I purchased. The fourth time, today I also took photos of everything. I am short $31 dollars and one cup to a set of 8. Although there are great finds, I don’t want to be ripped off. For an antique mall, there are a lot of booths with incredible pricing. So many different gems. There are also some price worthy treasures, hard to find Mid Century pieces and just an over all a great eclectic, kitschy store.
This place has so much stuff. Some of it is junk, some of it valuable, some of it is interesting. It’s a good place to get gifts for people. Affordable prices too.
I love this place. Anybody would get stuck in this store for hours. They have the coolest stuff. Old antique collectibles and some newer collectibles too. And pricing is pretty good. And if you have stuff your trying to sell to them, they look up every item and give you a fair price on it if they buyfrom you. I like the baskets of jewelry that have tons of individually bagged jewelry for $1 each.
I have been here for over 20 years as a dealer and this is a good place. I urge the person that feels over charged to ask for an itemized receipt next time. That is not a problem. It used to be a practice, but it wasted so much paper so we made it optional. It is posted by the register that cards of any kind cost a little more.Point being, no one tried to rip you off. Sorry about the mis communication. Thanks for being so kind. Cash or a Check is always less money. We are just trying to survive in this environment of elimination of the little guy in business. It is hard, and we are one of the only survivors of our craft in Slick City. Craft being relative as we have such talented dealers that find the best stuff! I love the new generation. They get it. Treasure and fun. Solid furniture that you don't need to assemble. Jewels to tools. Something for everyone. Also, LBGT and all the pronouns... So welcome and loved! WE LOVE DOGS! Please bring them in! Anytime. We have treats and water.
Well, to be fair, for a vintage store, it was a step up from Goodwill at four times the price. I have visited numerous Antique/ Vintage stores and I was disappointed at how expensive it was. However, it has a huge selection of Vintage items if you are not concerned with getting a fair price. The staff was courteous.
Want bad service then go here, Ralene the owner, Kathy, they will treat you with disrespect. Had an awful experience their and not worth the time. I'd rather go to Wal-Mart to shop and get better respect and customer appreciation.
Such an awesome antique store! You can really spend a couple hours in there and still not see everything!
Love the place and they have great items and prices. Word of caution not to park across the street by island of WT off rampfrom main door - I received a parking ticket.
Huge selection of almost everything. Many vendors with handmade and treasures galore. Several rooms busting at the seams with goodness like clothing, tools and carefully curated collections. One can find almost everything here in many price ranges.
