Mormon Lake Lodge

This campground has tons of potential, unfortunately the lake is not going to make an appearance this year due to the dry winter. Don't let that stop your trip here though, there's still plenty of trails to explore. The little town store and restaurants are a must visit for sure, and they even have horses you can visit (never got an answer about horseback riding) overall it's a very clean and well maintained campground. I recommend checking the weather and making a reservation beforehand though.

Rustic and scenic. A great location. Very enjoyable. Food was excellent. One of the best steaks I have ever had. A unique dining experience for family or friends or just out by yourself. Sit back, enjoy the scenery and have a delightful and filling meal at this mountain gem.

Place is cool, I like the center area. The cabins are definitely rustic and some are MUCH better than others. In our room there was a broken toilet, a dead cockroach (yeah I know, big deal, you're in the woods, but wife wasn't thrilled), and the fireplace did not work... the two heaters take quite a while to heat that place up, it was too much money for too little. They also lost our reservation somehow and we were lucky to get the room we got... we got a 20% reduction for that, but still, be warned, verify your reservation after booking.

We arrived 30 minutes before closing. Our food was a little burnt or under cooked. However they kept things open until we finished. I'll have to try it again during earlier hours. The atmoshere was cool. Lots of different animals mounted on the walls.

Always love to ride there from Munds Parks and get Ice cream from store. This time we just stopped in and we're upstairs checking out the museum and you could look down on the cooks which were eating steak with their hands while cooking people's food don't know but I think that is health violation don't think I'll eat at the restaurant any time soon or ever.
