Used their services for 20 years and always really happy with the results. Straight shooters, responsive and if the help I need is not what they do, they tell me who to call. Locally owned which is a plus.

This was one of the worst services I have ever encountered. Our water well was not supplying sufficient water pressure at the taps. They came to our farm and made some tests and said there was a short in the well pump motor. However, I had checked the electrical voltage to the well before they came, and there was nothing wrong. I was told that there was a short in the line, but I am an electrical engineer, and they could not show me evidence that there was indeed a short. I asked the repairman how he knew there was a short, and he said: "Because I am an expert in my field". They maintained that the pump was bad and estimated the cost for replacement about $1,000. They said that we had a 115 Volt pump, and they only had 220 Volt pumps, so a new 220 volt power line would have to be run. So I said to go ahead and install the new 220 Volt pump. They laid the new power line on the ground, and I decided to save some money by trenching the line myself. After the installation, we had water pressure for about 30 minutes, and it failed again. The problem was a new low micron water filter. Nevertheless, they claimed that the well pump had a short. So I trenched the power line and installed a new filter. I had an electrical service make the final connects, and they said that the Moser power line wire was not according to code. The electrician ripped up the line, retrenched and installed the new line. Another bill for $400. However, the Moser bill ended up over $2,000 for doing less work than they had estimated. I tested the old water pump motor and found it to be in working condition with no shorts. I told Mr. Moser that his personnel were incompetent, and that I could train them how to test them properly. However, he was very angry and insisted that they were experts and that he would sue me if I didn't pay. This all took some time to complete, so his bill wasn't paid on the time Moser had allotted, so he added an extra charge for the delay. This is the worst experience with service personnel I have ever encountered. Their personnel are not only incompetent, but rather insulting and not willing to listen to someone with an extensive background in electrical system analysis. The cost to me is about $2,500 for replacing a $10 water filter, and the pump they installed has a much lower pressure and pumping capability. Evidently, this is a totally family business, and they are not knowledgeable about modern electrical components, systems, and test methods, and Mr. Moser was very belligerent and threatening and not willing to listen.
