Movado Company Store

They have nice watches but they do not stand by what they promise. I bought a watch and was told I could return/exchange within 30 days of purchase. Bought it 12/23 and came today to exchange it for the SAME watch, same price, same EXACT model, but different dial color. They were trying to charge me additional $75 for the exchange of the Exact watch!! Let me not even start with their attitude. TERRIBLE customer service. Great watches but horrible customer service and store does not stand by what they promise. Will not be shopping here again.

I have a larger wrist, so before buying a watch I made sure to ask if they have extra links to add to the bracelet. They assured me that they do and it wouldn't be a problem to resize the bracelet in store. It wasn't until after I paid for the watch that I was told that to get the extra links, I'd have to go through the manufacturer and I could order two links for free. Keep in mind that they also have a no refund policy at this store, so at this point I was stuck with the watch.They gave me a contact number and info I would need.I reached out to the manufacturer and after being put on hold repeatedly and bounced from person to person I was told that they no longer offer free links for watches purchased through other stores as of two years ago and I would have to buy a whole bracelet for $115. I called the store and explained the issue and that I was obviously lied to regarding the free links and they referred to their no refund policy but I could exchange the watch for another one. When I asked if they have any brands with larger bracelets I was told that all their watches come in standard size but I could reach out to the manufacturer and get two links for free. Anyone else notice a pattern here. So now I'm stuck with a watch that won't fit unless I buy a new bracelet from the manufacturer. Save your time and go somewhere else.

First of all, do yourself a favor. Keep in mind that, if you are about to spend money for a Swiss watch, the Movado is their worst brand. After my experience, I wouldn't touch it with a 10' poll. Almost anything else, is better to go with. Now the following is about the "official" Movado Company Store. Consider this review as a ZERO star review. I purchased an expensive ladies watch for my wife. After 2 weeks, it stopped. I tried to return it with no luck. BE AWARE OF THE NO MONEY BACK POLICY !!!!!!! They forwarded me to warranty service center instead. I have now to send the watch on my expense. Who knows how long is going to take to be fixed. And I would bet anyone, that its back is going to be scratched from some inexperienced, low-end watch repairmen. My advises are: 1. Swiss Made not always mean undisputed quality. 2. Movado Company Store has NO MONEY BACK policy. 3. If you however, have to deal with them, be prepared to face the worst customer service. The fact alone that, there is NOT EVEN ONE Movado CO. reply on the negative reviews, tells you what kind of uncaring company you are about to deal with.

I have bought many watches from this Movado store. Salesperson, Lama always has a smile on her face. You can tell she has a great attitude and loves her job. She accommodated me on what I needed. Everyone is friendly. The atmosphere was great.

Why fire Lama? That is totally unfair. She is one of the most hard working person, and always doing her best to sell all the watches at the Movado Store. No Lama, then no more shopping at Movado store!!

We worked with Lama this past year and through COVID. Very helpful and our business relationship has grown more with her help. I am hoping that you will reconsider bringing her back and help our relationship continue. Very hard to find a person like Lama with her experience and dedication towards her customers. Lama is the best sales, always nice and hard working. It is really wrong to fire her, please bring her back!! Until then we and our friends will not shop at Movado anymore.

This guy have a horrible service. Not respond to the young costumer. Judge a book by its cover. Need to improve the attitude. NEVER EVER COME BACK AGAIN.

Lama is really a good associate. She’s nice, helpful and work so hard. It’s not fair to fire her!!! We need her back to help us. Please please please.

The staff is friendly as stated in other reviews. My issues are that they sell designer watches and have lower standards about return policies. You can’t get a refund. Only exchanges. I went for an exchange and the store didn’t want to do it because there was smudges on the watch they I didn’t wear. Only at the moment that I was getting upset they did it. Just be sure of your purchase.
