Mr. Mac’s Macaroni and Cheese

Mr. Mac's is unbelievably good. It's homemade mac & cheese of any style you can think of (I love the chicken bacon ranch, the buffalo chicken and the jalapeno popper one!) for the price of fast food. Service is friendly and quick. I've also visited the Portsmouth location and it's equally good.

8/10, so I don't like Mac N Cheese normally, but this place servicing almost exclusively so, is pretty damn good. With quite the verity, and I'm pretty sure if you ask for it they will make it for you. Decent service, plenty of parking and public bathroom.

Mr. Macs is a nice place to bring the kids. Mine especially since Mac & Cheese is about the only food they agree on. I wouldn't say it's pricey but it is in the middle-upper echelon of Mac & Cheese prices. After tax you'll spend $10 or more on a dish. The dishes are very rich, though, so you won't really have to/want to eat more than they gave you. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the environment, while not the warmest, was good for enjoying the food.

I called ahead for takeout not realizing I was only a couple of miles down the road on my way through town. They said it would be 20 min, when I got there, 2 minutes later, I told them I was there and figured I would have to wait..... I was wrong. My order was hot and ready to go!!! I was feeding 5 people and I wanted to try different flavors, so I got 4 small orders.....classic, beef taco, chicken parmesan, and veggie Mac and cheese, plus a LG garden salad. All of the Mac and cheese flavors were excellent, and the salad couldn't have been fresher! Not one piece of wilted lettuce.. This amount fed all five of us and there was enough left over for another person. Total bill @ $40!! Where else can you feed 6 people, really good, fresh, homemade food for $40!!?! We loved it and will absolutely be back!!!!

Heard about it and decided to try it, and we are happy that we did. Very good and something different. I wish that we could get one in Texas!!!
