Mission

The mission of the Mount Hope Trust is to steward its land and structures, including the historic 1745 Governor Bradford House, to cultivate appreciation of its natural, historic, and cultural character, and to make Mount Hope Farm accessible to all.

Heaven on earth.  If you want tranquility (pre-season), head here.  The town of Bristol is great, Colt State Park-a biking friendly and beautiful park.  Don't miss Coggeshall Farm,Audubon Society Environmental Trail, Linden & Blithewolde.
Sunset Cafe a must for breakfast and Christian's for dinner.

Best kept secret in Bristol. The Farm's grounds are wonderful. Miles of trails and Ocean views.

Visited Mount Hope Farm as a potential wedding venue. They had a farmer's market going on while we were there which was very nice. One lady selling socks and mittens was a little unreasonable. We were going to three pairs of socks for over 75$ and she would not cut us a deal. The lady we met to show us around was very nice and knowledgeable. However it does not seem as though they will negotiate on price too much. They only deal with one catering company which is very expensive. Overall though, the grounds are beautiful even during our November visit. Don't count this place out!

Beautiful place, nice rooms, comfortable bed. Just be warned there is no breakfast in the winter months. I will be back!
