DO NOT HIRE, DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES I paid them over 2k, to replace a part on my system. The part was covered by manufacture warranty, so the 2k was for LABOR ONLY! Unbeknownst to me, they left the gas line turned off potentially on purpose? When I called them after my system still wouldn’t work; they wanted $120 just to come back out. I ended up hiring another company Parks Heating for a fraction of the cost. The tech from the other company informed me that in addition to not turning on the gas line, MTB also didn’t properly re-tape my unit see pics, resulting in air escaping and system inefficiencies. I called MTB back to at least properly re-tape the unit, they continued to insist I pay them at least $120 to come correct their sloppy work. Save yourself from the frustration and predatory money grab; do not hire MTB.
We were recommended MTB mechanical by a friend and we were not disappointed. From our first interaction on the phone, everything was handled very efficiently. Things were explained very clearly and they took the time to understand everything we needed. The visit by the technician was a great experience, he came at the time he said he would, and explained everything he was doing. Highly recommend them.
Josh at MTB did an excellent job of responding quickly to my outreach when my system went out. He followed up in a timely manner and presented me with workable options. Lamar then did an excellent job with the installation and was extremely professional and kind while in my home. I would highly recommend the team at MTB.
MTB would have sent out a technician out that day,but we had appointments all day. Representative on the phone was polite, cheerful and we felt we could not help us enough. An MTB representative kept us updated with calls on the status of the Technician. The Technician called as well to let us know he was around the corner and he would be here soon.Technician was polite,respectful and most honest we have seen in awhile.
Matt was amazing! The air in our third floor townhouse wasn’t getting cold and it was so hot while we were trying to sleep… So MTB was able to schedule me that same day and sent Matt, who was very very knowledgeable and professional. He was able to diagnose the actual problem and solve it from there, rather than the previous company I have been using who told me I needed An entire new unit without bothering to figure out what was going on. I am super happy and I’m switching to MTB! Highly recommend.
They keep track of my twice a year AC and heating system checkups which is convenient. Service makes reminder calls including about 30 minutes prior to arrival. Generally always on time. The techs respect your property by wearing booties over their work boots. And are willing to brief you on the condition of your systems. I appreciate their service and have been a customer for more than several years
Very satisfied with MTB and would recommend. They installed HVAC systems each time we needed to replace older systems in several homes. Each experience has been easy with professional service. Also have service maintenance with MTB and have had no issues with heating or cooling. I have been very happy with MTB.
The technician was excellent. He was very thorough. That being said, I did not have a great experience with the office team. First, they moved my appointment up several weeks into a cold front. They said it would be fine for the AC service, but the tech said that he wasn’t fully able to inspect the refrigerant. Also, they called to tell me the tech was 25-30 minutes away but he didn’t show up for about an hour and a half later. The service was nearly double the cost of anyone else in town, but I’m not sure it’s worth the extra expense.
Jim was here to address some concerns we had about our air conditioner which was still under warranty. He was so helpful and patient answering all our questions along with making adjustments to our system. It was truly a pleasure meeting and working with him.
