A great spot supporting artists and very community minded for nearly fifteen years.
I love this place. Kinda pricey, but I understand things cost money. Just sometimes out of my budget.
It was a bit too small a place to swing dance in and it's an old hot and musty venue in the Bywater area. The decor was extremely bizarre and it was dark. There was no food and they sold limited drinks. The bathroom wasn't very clean either....however, this is the true character of the sub culture of New Orleans. Almost a tad nostalgic now!
Cutting edge wierd. Not for all tastes.
A great little spot for creatives and those that enjoy a slightly to the left of music, theater and art. The building is unassuming, a work in progress from the outside but look inside and that is where the real soul of the place grips you. It's a great place for music, theatre and just discovering the next creatives...
In a town full of things contrived for presentation to the outsider for the sole purpose of procuring the tourist dollar, this spot is authentic New Orleans Bohemianism. Makes no concessions and is unapologetically and unreservedly an art experience. Don't miss this place. This is that elusive spot the guidebooks struggle to find and include.
Enjoyed the world I had shared with me
Awesome quirky local puppetry, theatre & music venue where you will typically have your aesthetics stretched, & meet an oddball assortment of local lovelies.
Fun little DIY! Nice owner! Fun space. Good vibes.
