I had a new crown that was giving me some issues and my regular dentist suggested a root canal with an endodontist. I was really worried because in a few days, I was going to fly out of state with several connecting flights. I knew if I didn’t seek treatment immediately then I’d have one hell of a toothache. I called around everywhere, and I was elated when Dr. Bayat’s office said I could come in the next business day AND they could take my insurance. The treatment was like any routine filling. It didn’t hurt one bit other than general gum soreness afterward, which is pretty normal. Now that I’m home and after a total of five flights later, I can very confidently say that Dr. Bayat is my now “go to” for root canals.

I came here for a root canal. Despite what others may say, they aren't as joyous as you might expect. But Dr. Diaz and his staff were all incredible, and made my visit there as pleasant as one could hope. More so, actually. I was brought in immediately after checking in. +1 right off the bat. The assistance was friendly. And Dr. Diaz explained everything throughly, took care to ensure I wasn't feeling any pain, and very aware and responsive to any movements I made that might indicate if I were. And you know that gag, swallow, gag, swallow routine from water and bits filking your mouth and trying to go down your throat? Well, that common favorite among patients was all but eliminated when used this neat rubber shield thing that exposes only the tooth they're working on. Amazing!

The best experience I’ve had with a root canal procedure, and I’ve had to have a few due to a previous dental trauma. Dr. Bayat does a great job with making you feel comfortable and informed during the whole procedure. The entire team was really kind and made the experience great!

Dr. Bayat is the best! I got my root canal done in 2019 and writing review in 2022 haha I was really scared at the time after watching root canal YouTube videos, but Dr. Bayat explained everything to me and my husband. My husband tagged along for emotional support and he actually got to see entire process of root canal! My experience was so easy and not hurt at all. Also really appreciate the crew working there too. Very nice and informative. Highly recommend this place for your root canal

My experience with Dr. Bayat was truly exceptional. I was in excruciating pain all weekend due to a tooth abscess. My dentist could not find any Endodontist who could fit me in their schedules due to Thanksgiving week altough I was considered an emergency case. Not only Dr. Bayat's office accepted me as a new patient-very last minute-they got me in right away 15 min earlier than my emergency scheduled apt and they did a truly amazing job. Although Dr. Bayat had patients back to back he took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on, my treatment plan and answering all my questions. Not for one second I felt he was rushing me through. I honestly have never felt more comfortable at a dentist office-it was a lenghty procedure and I had minimal to zero discomfort. It's been a little bit over 24 hours after my procedure now, and I seriously cannot believe how great I am feeling. I received very clear after care treatment instructions on my way out. Dr. Bayat also gave me a call the day after to check up on things which shows how much he cares about his patients not a lot of doctors will take the time to do that from my experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone, he is fantastic!

I just had a root canal done with Dr. Jay and it was so fast and painless. It honestly didn’t feel too much different from a routine cleaning. Just remarkable . The office is cozy and they have the most gorgeous cognac dental chairs From check in to check out the front desk was kind and courteous. The assistant and Dr. Jay worked well together and the treatment was remarkably fast and I walked out a happy camper. Would recommend Dr. Jay without any reservations! If you need a root canal, get yourself to Dr. Jay, you’ll be in excellent hands!!!

The friendliest most down-to-earth staff I've ever met. I'm always very picky and diligent about choosing the right doctor, but I'm very happy with Dr. Bayat, his team, and the experience they gave me. I love the vibe, the atmosphere, and the high-tech equipment they use to give you the best diagnosis and treatment. Throughout the procedure, Dr. Bayat explains what he’s doing and checks to make sure you’re doing well to keep you calm and at ease. The entire root canal process was smooth and painless. In fact, the process was more comfortable and painless than all cleanings and fillings I've had in the past. My recovery was also very painless and easy, and I did not need Ibuprofen after the anesthetic wore off. If you are looking for a friendly and trustworthy Endodontic practice in the Portland area, I highly recommend Dr. Bayat and his team.

We had the most excellent experience with Dr. Jay! He was extremely thorough and patient with my mother as she was given recommendations as to which route would be best in taking care of her tooth. We cannot say enough good things about him! He was so incredibly honest and transparent each step of the way. We felt so comfortable with his recommendations and the result was perfection!!! Is you’re on the fence at all or are in the process of looking for a trustworthy place, look no further! Dr. Jay was such a blessing as my mother had a really horrific experience at another office prior to finding Dr. Jay. We 100% recommend Dr. Jay and his office in a heartbeat!

Dr. Bayat is the best! His office is tucked away in a hidden corner of Multnomah... Once you enter the doors, you transcend into a stylish and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is welcoming and efficient and the available technology is impressive. Dr. Bayat spent so much time with me carefully explaining and talking through options for a complicated root canal procedure when three other endodontists told me to skip retreatment and have my tooth extracted. Dr. Bayat gave me confidence, although success of the procedure was uncertain, he was absolutely committed to trying to save my tooth. Sadly, in the end the retreatment was unsuccessful, but I am deeply grateful for the experience. I know that I did everything possible to avoid extraction. I highly recommend him. Last spring, Dr. Bayat performed a root canal on my husband someone who is very uncomfortable at the dentist and it was one of the best procedures he ever experienced. He thought having a root canal was easier than having his teeth cleaned!! Don't hesitate... Dr. Bayat is the right guy! I sure hope I don't have a reason to see him again, but if I do, I would hesitate to return to his practice. Thank you Dr. Bayat!

Dr Bayat and his staff were absolutely wonderful. They got me in right away when I was experiencing some pain. I felt so comfortable in the office unlike most dental experiences and I knew that I was in good hands. I would recommend Dr Bayat to everyone, they are great people and you can tell they truly care about their patients!
