Had a follow up survey performed for a refinance. Utilizing bankruptcy and dilapidated property comps they devalued my property 30%. They ignored two previous surveys and provided arrogant answers around legitimate questions to their authority. One of the previous surveys was by them, but that guy didn’t work there anymore, so it didn’t count. Will never let a bank authorize money to be paid to these unqualified rubber stamp jockeys again. They should take consideration of previous valuations by their peers and consider the consequences of their bogus paperwork. It is all about putting as little effort as possible for these guys.
