This was a fun place! It seemed a bit sketchy at first. The furniture is worn and older and a bit of an older building. The staff was so very nice and very helpful for us newbies. You have your own room which is smaller that I imagined but it worked just fine. It was not easy to find some of the songs we were wanting to sing but we managed and had a great time. We will def be back!
Came back to this location for the first time in YEARS. They have revonvated the space inside and updated the structure outside. You were able to come in and it had a public stage. They have now change it into a VIP room for large groups, so no more Public stage. You had to purchase a coffee or hot tea to utilize the public stage. The staff has updated since I have been gone. One man remained the entire 5 years. One has been there for 2 years. I recall the owner stepping away from it because she has done this business for many years and wanted time for herself. The same cook is still there so the food is STILL amazing. I recently moved back to the area, so I decided to stop by. Still has the same vibes, just the public stage is gone so you cannot see talent like you use to. It has officially turned into karaoke rooms. I will always stop in for the chicken wings. No love lost.
Really fun place to book a private karaoke room and have a party! The sound system in the large room was giving quite a bit of feedback, at times, and the kitchen was a little baked up so it took forever to get food. Overall, the staff was super nice and accommodating. Will be back!
I genuinely didn't enjoy this. The people were nice, which is why this is getting 1 star. Otherwise, I found the song selection to be really poor, the place to be pretty simple. For a place that has such good reviews, I expected a lot more. Other shops in this area are great but just not this...
Fun little spot. Compared to VoiceBox RIP, the selection of songs is limited and the karaoke machine isn’t the easiest to use mostly in Korean, plus the sound quality wasn’t amazing. However, the prices were reasonable and the staff were very friendly. I would certainly come back.
Immense fun, kind and hospitable staff, and clean, cool surroundings. My daughter found Muse on Yelp and insisted we visit. I felt very out of place when we walked in, but we were put at ease by a welcoming staff member. I wasn't completely sure kids were allowed, but yes, they are. We sat in the main room and just observed for a little while, eventually asking if we could try a private room--we both love to sing but are incredibly shy. My daughter picked a pretty room with two white sofas and a ceiling-mounted rainbow electronic disco ball. Clean and a little fancy. Everything was in Korean, but the staff member showed us how to use the remote and pulled out a binder listing their American/English songs. There's also a translation reference for the remote on the back of that binder. The karaoke system itself was really nice--great sound from wall/ceiling-mounted speakers, big TV, two mics. The remote allowed adjustment of volume, sound characteristics, tempo and pitch, etc. The English pop song selection was small compared to the Korean binders, but that's probably to be expected. Plenty of old standards, 30-50 songs each from artists like Michael Jackson and The Beatles, a smattering of top 40 from the past few years. Lots of Nirvana, no Tori Amos, one Fiona Apple if that gives you an idea of the distribution. There were plenty of songs we knew and could sing together...we'd planned on an hour in the room, but two hours were up before we knew it. The karaoke system seems to play random Korean videos, which was good anachronistic fun. Lyric display was well-synced and while I noticed the occasional spelling/word error, those just added to the experience. Staff brought us refreshments in-room, and there was a concierge phone although we didn't use it. They were so kind without seeming disingenuous or over the top--really invested in making sure we had a great experience, and happy we had a blast. Private rooms are usually $25/hour but drop to $20 for happy hour. All in all...cheaper than a movie if you go during happy hour, and two nervous Nellies thought this was so much fun--a minor breakout from our shells and routines. I imagine that a group of extroverts might love it even more. We'll definitely do this again and force/invite the rest of the family to come with.
Terrible experience. The female employees were lovely and nice however the man behind the bar was horrendous. Got a really terrible vibe from him the minute we walked into the doors. Extremely rude and confrontational with customers. If there are policies your place of business has, your employees should communicate this when booking a room over the phone and there would be ZERO issues. There is no confusion if communication is clear but the man behind the bar got extremely upset and argumentative when we refused to pay for an hour we did NOT book. The selection of Korean music is ancient but advertised as a Korean Karaoke. You can Bluetooth your phone if you would like but no screen mirroring. The system used for karaoke is a mess.
Many private rooms to sing recent or classic hits. You can also order drinks and food in your room so you never have to leave if you don't want to. I'd call ahead if you want to check room availability. Definitely recommended if you want to sing karaoke in private or just have a fun time.
Authentic Korean style karaoke with Soju and Cass and Terra beer : lots of good songs and big room. Big rooms for $45 an hour medium for $40 and small for $30.
I loved it here. I came on a weekday and they took care of us easily and treated us very well
