Museum of Arts and Design

This museum was extremely nice both in its exhibits and staff. I decided to take a tour of the museum because I had some free time and this place was a pleasant surprise. I just wish I went where there was more activities going on.

I have lived in NYC for over 20 years and never got past the amazing gift shop. But we actually paid a visit.so fabulous. Carefully curated exhibitions, fun and engaging. There are artists actually working on the museum. Wow! Who knew?

This museum has wonderful shows that are not the usual... shows about scents, or sounds, interesting light shows, and interactive displays. The docents are knowledgeable and friendly. They feature a "resident artist" with whom visitors can observe and interact. Check the website to see what the current shows are about.

Chill vibe, unique art, had a really good time. I enjoyed it more than the MoMA as it was quieter and I could appreciate it more without a load of people with selfy sticks wanting their breath to touch a Van Gogh.
