An unprofessionally rude company owner  who works for just money, very materialistic and avoiding to help people who ask a question.  Humanity, work ethic principals are not their first priority even it was a 5 minutes phone call. Mustafa is a common name in the Muslim world. And the name means "chosen, selected, appointed, preferred", used as an Arabic given name and surname. This company will never be my choice as it doesn't deserve this name.

Having your taxes done is important and knowing why you file and what to file is even more important. Mustafa teaches you while doing your taxes which is so important and shows you options which can positively affect your finances now and for the future. His firm not only does taxes but is a full-fledged accounting firm handling small and large businesses or freelancers. I am glad to have him as my Accountant and recommend him highly.

Mustafa does accounting and tax prep for individuals, free lancers, small businesses and professionals.  I have been going to Mustafa for the past 3 years after my last accountant retired. Mustafa has personally saved me over $15,000-20,000 over the past 3 years in taxes. I have an engineering education and I thought I could do my own taxes using Turbo Tax. The small fee that Mustafa charges pays itself back many times over 50-100x in my case for the money he has saved me. In my case it was mostly getting over my pride that in spite of graduate level technical education I cannot and should not do my taxes if I want to lower my tax bill.  I have referred many friends to Mustafa and they are always astonished at the various government credits and arcane rules for deducting expenses that they are unaware of and which cost them money. Whatever you do please do not go to one of the tax prep mills like Jackson Hewitt or HR Block. Those folks are poor trained and are not doing much more than following software prompts. You are much better off finding a good accountant to do your taxes.  If you are free lancer or have an LLC or S/C corp and have to make quarterly payments, Mustafa can take care of that also for you. If it is tax season strap on your shoes/high heels/stilts/brooms and high tail it to Mustafa to cash it out!!

Mustafa has done my taxes for the past 3 years at a very affordable price and I don't even live in Astoria anymore... he's worth the trip from Inwood. He has removed a lot of confusion that comes along with becoming fully self employed. He is always patient with me as I sit in his office and shuffle through my expenses, as we figure out what I can and can't write off. He is always a phone call away if I need help, no matter what time of the year. Highly recommend!

My experience with Mustafa was absolutely wonderful! He was able to slide me in the week before taxes were due with only 3 days notice. I got a prompt 10am appointment and there was no one else in line. Mustafa was very knowledgeable and quick to point out mistakes with my prior return. He worked with me, asking the right questions, to get my perfect return. He even advised me on opening a retirement plan. Can't recommendmore!

Mustafa is unresponsive, inaccurate and lacks expertise.  Because he failed to report debt forgiveness, the IRS demanded $56k from me 2 years later.  He dragged his feet getting it resolved and sent me on a wild goose chase.  I eventually had to call the IRS for more time and hire a new accountant to get me out of the mess.  He did not refund his $520 fee either.  I'm an individual, not a business, so this had a huge impact on my life.

I had the worst experience with Mustafa, he agreed to do my taxes, draged me for 3 weeks, keep making promises and did nothing, what a waste of time, very unprofessional.
