Great main show, but all the exhibits are in French only. Yes, I know this is France but the Chateau Blois demonstrates how well several languages can be done. Unless you're fluent you wont follow the smaller show at all.
Our kids absolutely loved this place. We saw 3 magic shows for 23 euro! It was outstanding value. Staff were wonderful, even the security guards seemed happy to be there. Kids or big kids will love this. One of the highlights of our trip to the Loire. Merci!
Ideal place for the small children who are interested in magic. Makes me sad because I realized myself too old to be happy with magic :
I loved this charming place and I think the price for a family of four was a bargain these days. We went on a day when it was raining so it was pretty busy but it never felt crowded. The show was really good, aimed more towards the children as you'd expect. Really nicely presented exhibitions on the history of magic, horology and Harry Houdini. It is all in French but hey, we're in France! My wife speaks schoolgirl French and I used Google translate in camera mode now and again and it was fine. The dragons are brilliant. Totally mad.
The illusions are great, recommend buying tickets for the magic show
Fascinating place. Lots to see and experience. Magic show was great for young children, really engaging. Shame the dragons weren't working.
It is an interesting places for kids and adults too. For the fans. Lots of Hudini's objects. You can stay at the show. The otside is wonderful too. They have some moving huge dragons and a show too.
The spectacle is great to watch, also for adults. Also the people who work there are nice. But the rest of the museum is a disappointment, only in French and not very interesting. Would not recommend.
Great place for kids and adults. We were lucky enough to see ‘Dragon time’ when mechanical dragons’ heads appeared out of the windows and roared at the people in the square. The show was fun and there was plenty to see and do in the museum itself. The only downside was the stench coming from the downstairs toilets which was truly awful
Do not recommend if you don't understand French. On the first floor, it was okay as there were tons of optical illusions to try. The place is overall very small so not worth the ticket price. We got the combined ticket deal with the castle. There is a magic show included but it was quite underwhelming.
