I had a very positive experience working with My Townhome Realty for our home search. Our realtor was the wonderful Cassandra Candy Stone, and I highly recommend her. My partner and I were first time home buyers and she was patient and there for us with explanations for every step of the process. She has years of experience in this field and a network of people on hand to recommend for anything you may need. She is very responsive to texts and phone calls, was always accommodating to our schedules when looking at places even when they were last minute, and always had a contagious good energy about her. During our closing process, she took care of a lot of the heavy lifting with all our paperwork and contacts. With this being such a stressful time for home buying, Candy really gave us a positive and easy-going experience, thank you!
Extremely unprofessional and downright terrible to work with. Buying a condo with them was a nightmare. My agent had no idea how to follow through on anything, phone calls, promises, anything. If there was a chance to drop the ball it was dropped. Without fail, ever single time!!! Nothing went right, and nobody cared or made it right. After many delays and thousands of dollars wasted I finally was able to move into my new home. Loving where I live now but would have definitely found another condo had I known what I was getting myself into... BEWARE
If I could give zero stars, I would. Cameron Hunter and Kyle Frey have been THE WORST people to work with. Our townhome rental was filthy and unlivable when we arrived, and almost two weeks past when they knew we’d be moving in, they still haven’t provided any maintenance. They sent a cleaning person for a basic clean, but this woman said these were the second worst bathrooms she has ever had to clean and she’s been doing this for TWENTY YEARS. I can send Cameron and email, message, or even call him and he won’t respond for days and days on end. These are horrid people to work with and I will never recommend these people to anyone. Even with provided proof of the unlivable state of the home, they continue to drag their feet instead of actually doing their jobs. There’s also absolutely no way anyone even stepped foot into this place before we moved in, because even a blind person could see that this place is disgusting. Cameron AND Kyle both said individually that there are “plenty of applicants that would be willing to live there” when I further explained how disgusting it was. I am 8 months pregnant with a toddler and two pets, and we have nowhere else to go with all of our belongings, and their best solution was that we push our move in date, as if that’s actually a feasible option when we’re 4.5 hours away from where we were previously living, and 9.5 hours away from any family. This place would be beautiful if the landlord had hired a property management company that actually cared about doing their job. It’s honestly too bad, and a shame that they can’t respect their jobs enough to actually do something about this situation.
Cameron Hunter is awesome! He helped me sell my home in Concord in less than a month at $10k over asking. He pays for a professional photographer to photograph your home and it makes for an awesome listing. List with him today! Thanks again, Cameron!
I can't say enough about what a great realtor Lindsay Smith is, and what a great team she works with at My Townhome Realty. Lindsay really was the perfect realtor for us. She was genuinely interested in helping us find the right home for our family, she was excited about the process, and she helped to keep us focused and encouraged throughout. I was very impressed with her knowledge not only of selling homes, but of the entire home process and what we really should be looking for in a home. We bought our home in a new area, and really didn't have any connections for the various things that we needed to get done, but Lindsay stepped up and was truly our advocate in finding the professionals we needed, and in negotiating the very best deal for us. I truly would have no reservations in recommending Lindsay for your next home purchase! You will not be disappointed!
Dealing with Scott Thomas was an excellent experience. He was very patient in showing us various options, far off & close by, during the properties as per our requirements. And he was courteous enough to change our requirements and filter out properties for us too. Since it was a critical & a big in terms of amount decision, he explained all the pros as well as cons on the property and the idea and approx costs, for any modifications in the property, if we started exploring an option to buy the property. This was REAL TRANSPARENCY and a PROFESSIONAL APPROACH. A real hard working and a patient service provider, who worked with us, with full zeal, and ultimately helped us in buying the property. Not to leave at that…..even after buying the property, he is still approachable to help us get any service / document, if required by us, for the property. Overall an EXCELLENT SERVICE.
Working with Michelle has been great! She was very responsive and provided helpful updates about the property. She helped me find fantastic tenants! She also coordinated smooth transitions and support when tenants moved in and out. She did a wonderful job caring for my property!
I am not disappointed. Cameron Hunter persevered through a great deal Of drama. Just closed 2 weeks ago today on the sale of my home in Cotswold homes. I first met Cameron in 2019 and it turns out that we are connected through individuals I have known since childhood as I was born and raised in Cotswold and/or having attended the same church the entire time I lived in Charlotte. The plan was to put my condo on the rental market and buy another condo on the light rail but things changed when we lost my last living grandmother to Covid at the ripe age of 99 so time to head to Ohio to be near my brother and SIL. Market conditions were such that I got over asking price Can’t recommend Cameron highly enough
Over the last 10 years we have worked with Matt Claxton and eventually Jordan on selling/buying/renting of multiple properties and we could not speak more highly of their professionalism, knowledge, and responsiveness. Without their recommendations on all types of topics school districts, rental areas/pricing, house flipping, sale pricing/strategy, rental property management we would not have been as successful as we were. On top of that, they were both fun and personable to work with, and will go the extra mile.
David’s knowledge of the Charlotte real estate market is unmatched. We decided to move to Charlotte at the height of one of the toughest buyer’s markets and in the middle of a global pandemic. He truly listened to what we were looking for and went above and beyond to help us find the perfect home - even FaceTiming showings when we couldn’t make it to Charlotte. David’s patience, deep knowledge of the market, and expert guidance in negotiating landed us the perfect house for the perfect price - even for these two picky buyers. It is going to be awhile before we move again, but when we do - David will be my first call. We love him! Laurel.
