Gary A. Nagler is an experienced attorney licensed in both New York State and Texas, a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, and has over 35 years’ experience providing legal support to corporate clients and family law firms, both with regard to general employee benefits or ERISA matters (such that we have a far deeper understanding of the underlying plan vehicles) and with regard to the preparation of Qualified Domestic Relations Orders.

Nagler, PLLC prepares division orders for all types of plans, qualified, both defined contribution and defined benefit in nature, non-qualified, corporate, military, Federal, and quasi-qualified plans such as 403(b) and 457 plans, and has a full understanding of the differences and issues that arise under particular plan designs. Once you have a final agreement as to the amount to be allocated to the alternate payee, Gary A. Nagler, PLLC will assist you in drafting the QDRO, presenting it to the plan administrator for pre-certification, if possible, making any changes that are requested and appropriate to finalize the order, presenting it following signature and court certification to the plan administrator for final approval. Our involvement continues until the parties have been notified that the QDRO is accepted for final processing.
