Very cute and quaint spot for a quick fresh bite of authentic Japanese on the go. Everything was tasty. Staff is very nice and has been in business for 12 years. Located upstairs through the tunnel towards the hotel in Newark Penn station.
Their food is pretty tasty and very conveniently located. I won't lie and say it's my favorite, however for the price and the location it really can't be beat! Definitely worth a try if you ever happen to be passing through the gateway.
Charging almost $10 for plate of teriyaki chicken that suppos to come with rice and veggies. There is no veggies! Its loaded with big chunks of cabbage yuk! You lucky if you get one small piece of broccoli or carrots. Wripp off!
Cheap ingredients and unsanitary sushi fish is made after cheap cold storage, salad is also sold directly after cold storage. Only the money of the storedont care about u
Terrible costumer service. They charged me more by mistake should be $9 and instead I was charged $16 I went there to resolve the situation and the shushi man said he couldn't do nothing for me. Seriously when you have a client that comes to your restaurant 3x a week and is unhappy about a something, you should do the effort to create a solution. Never going back there!!!
One of my favorite plus I know the owner for a little over 20years he can makegreat great sushi one of NJ best.
I work my day job downstairs from the place. Very tasty. I like the teriyaki chicken spicy with rice n veggies.
Best sushi in Newark! Very busy at lunch but so worth it.
No need to travel far in the Gateway Center for food. This place will due fine.
A little overpriced, but the sushi is second to none. Thanks, George!
