I had an appointment last week for a dip manicure at 10 am. The technician did not seat me or begin my soak off until 10:20 and my entire appointment lasted beyond 2 hrs - even with a soak off, this is by far the longest service I've ever had. My cuticles bled in multiple places and 2 layers of gel topcoat with the UV light were applied, even after I requested no light, and explained I've never had this before with dip. The technician assured me it would make it last longer and "be much shinier" than my last manicure, but 3 days in, I have chips on both hands that I've never had before from other salons. One technician even walked by and pointed to my toes saying they were "gross" and in need of a pedicure. The prices here are incredibly high considering the level of service and lack of efficiency. I will not be returning.
I don’t write reviews often, but I’ve had a great experience every time I go in there. It’s such a beautiful salon and everyone is very kind and hard at work. My mani and pedi came out gorgeous! I got a full set gel acrylic with designs and gems and the pedicure was amazing. It’s been about 3 weeks already and not a single gem has fallen off and hasn’t chipped. I put my nails through it too working full time and they are so sturdy. The price is totally worth the quality. Definitely coming back here and bringing all of my friends. Best place on the island fr!!!!
I Do not plan on visiting this place again and do not recommend it. I have gone here off and on in a pinch for eyebrows specifically, but for nothing else, due to the poor attitudes of the employees. They act as if they’re being inconvenienced by customer’s presence. I went in for an eyebrow wax and when I went to pay they tell me there’s a $20 minimum card charge. Mind you I have been going here for eyebrows for about 4 years and this has never been a policy. They try and tell me this has always been a policy, which is not true. Then they show me the $20 minimum sign that is conveniently sitting on the counter under the credit card machine so you can’t see it. Not posted on a wall or anywhere visible. They then tell me they’ll have to charge me $20 for the service. I was a little agitated but It was $2.50 more and I figured it would be towards tip. When they turn the machine around it is all of a sudden almost $22. I ask why it’s not $20 even and they tell me they’re charging me tax ON TOP of the $20 they’re charging me for the $17.50 service. I paid the $22 and let them know I will not be visiting their establishment again. This “policy” has never been in place in the 4 years I’ve been there and to then charge me $5 over the cost of the service is ridiculous. Definitely not recommended.
This was my 2nd time going. The first time I got a mani and pedi gel and it was great. Since I had a good experience I decided to take my daughter with me this time. We both got manicures. Her’s could’ve been neater but she was ok with them. Mine on the other hand were two different colors and had what looked like bubbles in them. They were really nice and fixed them for me. It was the polish so I understand, stuff happens. The reason for the review is my polish is already chipping. It’s only been a day and my last manicure from here lasted at least 3 weeks.Service: Gel manicures
I enjoy this nail salon. I feel they are a little pricey, but I think it’s Hawaii prices! I always do the gel pedicure to make it last longer. Customer service is good though - everyone is very friendly!Service: Pedicure
So many things went wrong and I should have just stopped the mani. And definitely shouldn't have let her do my toes after the mani. I kept thinking the end result would be okay though. It was not. Issues: cut my cuticle to the point of bleeding, uneven nails, used an old and crusted base coat spent first 5 minutes trying to uncrust it, kept switching brushes, the wiping caused fuzz to get on my nails multiple times and I have one that you can see on a nail in the top coat, dip it super uneven at my cuticle and over my cuticle at some points which is painful with dip, my nail is already separated from the dip on one nail, she cut way too far down on my big toes with a tool that I didn't see her sanitize for that type of cutting it is already super sore. The only thing that was said to me the entire time was from another tech sitting beside me that asked to look at my nails. She asked my if it was my first time getting dip which was a weird question. I think she knew they looked really bad. Then she said that my cuticles were really dry and that I should apply oil. Literally everything was wrong. Others around me looked like they had a good experience. I did not and paid $120 for a terrible experience.
Visited with my sister—Lily did my pedicure and manicure and about put me to SLEEP like 4 times!! She is AMAZING!!! By far the BEST treatment I’ve ever had in a nail salon. My sister had Mimi and she did a PHENOMENAL job!! They really take their time and are so very professional and CLEAN!!!! This will be a MUST stop every time we’re on-island…”Forever Nails” 10 out of 10!!!!! Services: Foot massages
I have been to a lot of salons over the years but this salon has been nothing short of amazing. Jenny thr owner assured me that her manicure and pedicure were going to last awhile and it took like a month for the gel to begin to show signs of wear. It is the best salon on the island of Oahu, I would give it 10 stars if I couldServices: Pedicure
Awesome service! I drive past nail shops on my side of town for Kelly and her artistry. The ladies are always friendly and professional: I’ve even sent friends who are now regulars. They’re worth the drive!Services: Nail art
