I enjoyed my time at Nail Tiki. I wouldn't have say it's the best Nail shop in the world but it definitely is a good place for women who like more simple designs. I've only seen one lady do really intricates designs but she was amazing. I think her name is Mimi. There isn't any free parking, park across the steeet. They do have long waits during the obvious busy times. They serve sprite, coke, water , and champagne. I enjoyed my pedicure but I think the polish could be better. The staff is super nice, please tip.in cash. Bathrooms is clean., chairs are updated, and the place is nice on the eyes.Services: Pedicure
Well, I guess a good thing can’t last forever. This is the third time I patronized this establishment and it will be my last. I went for a manicure as I had before. And as in previous times I was asked if I wanted clear polish or gel. I asked what “How much more for gel?” and the staff person raised her hand and held up 4 fingers and said “four”, which would have made the total cost $21. When I was ready to pay she says the cost is $40.00. I said how is this $40 when you said it was an extra $4. She insisted that she said “forty” and I insisted that she said 4, which was affirmed by the fact that she raised 4 fingers. In the end I pod the $40.00, because paying it was not my issue. I had a problem with being mislead. Then as I am talking to the woman, the lady managing the front desk passively jumps into the conversation. She says in a low voice while looking into her phone, “It couldn’t have been 4 because gel cost $20 dollars more.” I said to her, “Ma’am, she raised her hand showed 4 fingers and said 4.” And she says, “Maybe because of the mask you didn’t hear her say 40.” Once again I affirmed that she raised her hand showed me me 4 fingers. So I raised my hand and asked her to tell me how many fingers was I holding up. The lady that junoed into our conversation ignored me. I politely continued to get her attention until she looked at me. I raised my hand, held up 4 fingers, and asked her, “How many fingers am I holding up?” She reluctantly answered: “4.” I proceeded to tell her that she was rude for jumping into my conversation with her colleague and ignoring me when I wouldn’t back down from my position. She said, “I’m sorry”, to which I said no you are not. I tipped the woman $10.00 and left. Again, paying for the service is not my issue; I dislike poor communication and bad customer service.Service: Gel manicures
Never have I ever had this type of experience with a nail salon. I cld Friday to schedule an appointment with Mimi, spoke with the owner and he said she had an available spot 3:00 pm. As I’m on my way and calling them he says after checking he never put it down, he doesn’t know why. He then proceeds to say they are short staffed and booked and that Mimi has an appointment with someone at 2:00, says sorry and sighs. I was highly upset as this is a nail salon I go to all the time and is down the street from my house.Services: Pedicure
