This an awesome chance to see history, natural beauty over 3 states. Starting in Natchez, MS and ending in Nashville, TN. It has very noticeable changes in areas diverse climate and landscapes. Well worth the drive and experience. The roadway is patrolled by park rangers adding an air safety and security.

My wife and I drove The Natchez Trace Parkway from the northern terminus (near Nashville) to Tupelo, MS- about 180 mi over a 2-day period in late March. Very light crowds, dogwood just starting to peek out. It's a pleasant drive if you're up for a relaxed pace. Interesting stops along the way, especially for a first time visitor. Scenery is not as spectacular as the Blue Ridge Parkway in my home state of VA, but pleasing nonetheless. It's a historic and beautiful road and worth the trip to visit once. If we come back, it will be to do the southern end near Natchez, MS

Beautiful setting, full of information to orient one to the Natchez Trace. Be sure to watch the 15-minute film about the history, geography, and beauty it traverses. I've never been so glad to get off the Interstate and experience the pristine beauty of America.

The Rangers were helpful and knowledgeable. Lots of great information regarding the area. We loved everything about the N.T.T., so happy to have had the experience.
