I’m a EE member and have never had such a positive rental experience with National as I recently had, to begin with Tribecca was phenomenal and really helpful to accommodate me given the high demand and limited supply, and a special shout-out to Manager Blake he was unbelievably kind and went out of his way to help me change in the car for something bigger when more people joined my trip! Rent from them with confidence you won’t be disappointed!!
When I arrived, the vehicle was not ready. That was disappointing but I felt confident that they were working hard to get me a vehicle clean and ready for me as fast as possible. I was offered different vehicles instead of what I had reserved. A couple of them would not work but the third was indeed a better fit for needs than what I had reserved. I took that one. I understand it is challenging to get cars ready on a busy turn over time. They sincerely did their best, keeping me informed along the way. It was not long of a wait, either. They wanted to make sure I received good care and a proper vehicle. It may initially sound like they did not do well but I look at the way they responded to the situation. They earned my trust and I will continue seek cars from National!
Great! We checked into National at the Anchorage Airport and were in and out within 5 - 7 minutes. Received a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Clean and ready to go. Easy return. Very pleased.
For the fifth rental in a row in Anchorage, Alaska, I had to wait for a vehicle for more than 30 minutes. On top of that, I had to wait in line for a significant amount of time. I am Executive Elite. However, they treat everyone the same. There is no special line for elites, nor is any preference given to elites. This experience is terrible!
Arrived at about 1:30am, immediately got my reserved car. The pickup and return services were smooth and fast. Everything was perfect, highly recommended.
Connected to Avis this agency will not only provide you with a great car and great deal but also with the stellar customer service only a friend would give. If you are so lucky to have Mr. Henry M., you just won! His customer service far exceeds the necessary effort to get the job done. Not only did he help taylor a car to our needs but he gave us some suggestions that fit our budget and desires. The prices were consistent with other mid-cost rental car providers, but maybe a little better. I usually use Hertz, that is a bit more on average, but this time they were way too expensive.
I don't know why I keep using national there service is always so poor. Getting a hold of staff is when you need help, like we did on this trip was a nightmare!! The cars are fine, checkout normally painless, but the service is just awful! National, why in the world do you respond to negative comments asking us to send you a contract number so you can "look into this" see the companies response to my comment and plenty of other comments. Two thoughts. 1. My problem was when I HAD the rental not now. What are you going to do after the fact? Why not just provide support when it is needed?! 2. I have sent an email before and NO ONE has responded. To those reading my review and nationals response, please take note of the awful service you can expect. National, if you really care, how about you give me a number to call you at to discuss, that isn't your general 1800 number?
National Car rental always provides the best customer service and clean cars. Love them!
Since Alamo/National are exactly the same at this station they didn't even bother to appear as separate as in some other airports, this warning applies to national as well: After having a great experience with Alamo in San Francisco / San Jose, we had a terrible one with Alamo/National Anchorage. The attitude we got today, August 22, from a agent called Autumn was way beyond everything that is acceptable. She treated us like we have never rented a car before, even though we just handed in a luxury Full size SUV Alamo rental 5 hours ago at another airport. The car we got was extremely dirty inside and outside pictures attached and not the reserved class. She simply stated there was nothing else except this wreck available, even though the car lot was full. Whatever the reason was for her attitude, she didn't care to explain it to us and the condition of the car is just unacceptable. Can't recommend.
We had fantastic service in Anchorage, during both check-out and upon return. Our vehicle was great, too!
