Naval Station Newport Pass And ID

If you're reading this, you need base access to Naval Station Newport and don't have a military ID or CAC. This office is the solution, but can be tricky your first time. You MUST have valid photo ID. Not expired, not a student ID, and for the love of god do not bring a fake ID. If you have a car, bring current insurance and registration info (it's in the glove compartment of your rental.) Have your contact call ahead, and call the office if you have questions. Most of all, be patient. Yes, there are rules. Yes, they need to know who you're meeting and where you're going (building number is handy here), and yes, there is a line. It's fine. Deep breath. Oh, and RapidGate or whatever is only there like 2 days a week, so call ahead.
