Nawab Indian Cuisine

I’m okay with this place. Pricey for how much you get. White table cloth and white paper placemats, all white chinaware makes up for some I guess. Ratio of protein and sauce need to be balanced. The five chunks of lamb and chicken were drowning in the curry sauce. Chicken is not that expensive, and for $22 an entree, beef it up at least. Taste-wise, better than good, meats were tender but almost dry. I’d go back if ever I’m craving for Indian food and they are close by.

Nawab has an amazing ambiance. I absolutely love Nawab at First Colonial in Virginia Beach and the entire staff offers exceptional service and are always very friendly. They truly care about their customers. And the food is so decadent and very delicious. I have been coming here for about 10 plus years now. My friends and family loves this place as well. I highly recommend it if you enjoy Indian cuisine. There is no other Indian cuisine better.

Delicious vindaloo and dobhi manchurian! The service was attentive and so friendly. Such a broad menu compared to other Indian places I’ve been! Would highly recommend.

The worst food that I have ever had. To call it Indian food is injustice to Indian cuisine. Terrible taste and very small servings. For $22 they gave a tandoori grill with 4 items. Pathetic taste and pathetic quality. Please stay away from this place and don’t waste your time and money.

The best dining experience we have had in years. The food was absolutely amazing, delicious, fragrant, cooked all to perfection, the presentation. The atmosphere was relaxing and beautiful. The service was unlike any I have received in several years. I spent 15 years waiting tables so I have high standards, and from beginning till end I was never let down. I've never been more impressed all around with a dining establishment.

The best Indian food anywhere. 11 years ago when I was pregnant I only wanted to eat at Nawab in Newport News everyday. Since we moved to NYC I’ve tried every Indian restaurant and nothing compares! They make the absolute best naan and raita. The chicken tiki masala and lamb Rogan josh are delicious. The chick pea app is also very good. I was so happy to be back here. We went twice during our 5 day visit to Virginia Beach.

The staff is superb. Food is very tasty and ambience is nice. We went to this place twice and enjoyed couple of different dishes and loved the taste. Must say they are caring enough and takes good care of guest. Thank you for the delicious and beautiful food. Vegetarian options: Lot of options available and tastes good. Parking: Very small parking lot. There are additional parking on the back side of this restaurant.
