We went to Nebraska Furniture Mart for a few things today. We had to go look for a new bed for my child and the selection was amazing. After that we went to grab some headphones for class and found just the perfect set. We browsed around for toys and games in preparation for Christmas. Let’s just say that their selection was overwhelming. This is by far the best toy store in town. They have something there for everyone hands down. All the power equipment caught my attention quickly as well. There’s definitely plenty of stuff to shop around for hours here. The staff is always friendly and helpful and can answer pretty much any question that you will have. The facility is always clean and organized. All the isles were clutter free and have plenty of room to shop around with ease.
We got a dresser and two night stands for our daughter. The salesman was nice and professional He did offer us all of the things that they're supposed to do insurance and so on and so forth but when we made it clear that we weren't interested he didn't continue to push He said it was not a problem. It was a quick and pleasant experience. When we went to go pick up the furniture we got in the wrong line not knowing it since we were new to the area and the people were super nice to us and let us know for next time but they still helped us and still treated us with respect. Everybody was super kind and helpful. Will definitely go back.
We purchased quartz counter and sink from Nebraska Furniture Mart in Omaha. First installation date was set before Thanksgiving- they didn’t show up Next installation day was December 2, 2021. They removed the Corian counter and sink solid surface - sink and counter are one piece, sink is not separate they had to use a hammer to break it into pieces to remove it. They discovered that the new sink was broken so installed 1/2 of the quartz counter and had to piece together the broken counter top and sink and put back into place. Broken areas are covered with blue tape. We were assured that they would order a new sink ASAP and rush the shipping. New sink would be arriving 12/23/21 and they would call to set up installation to install the other 1/2 of counter and sink. We called 12/23/21 and were told that the arrival date was still 12/23/21, maybe the sink was still on the truck? They would check and call back…no call back. Called today 12/27/21. Talked to Anna - customer service rep and she said she would call back today or tomorrow to let us know what is going on We have been more than patient and had to host Christmas with a broken mess of a counter and to add insult to injury we were billed for the counter top install!!!!
NFM has decent prices on a huge variety of things from bedroom sets and living room furniture to electronics and gaming. I always check out their Clearance section inside of the Electronics area that has brand name items for a better price.
Maddie helped me buy my first Nebraska furniture mart couch! She was smart and helpful and quick. I was in and out lighting fast. I can’t wait until my couch is delivered! I’m so excited for it! UPDATE! My couch was delivered a month early! Wow! and it’s beautiful! It’s exactly what I pictured and I’m so happy with it!
Bought a dishwasher and paid to have it delivered and installed. They came out today to deliver. They took out our old dishwasher and then notified us they were unable to install new one due to a fixture issue. They refused to reinstall my old dishwasher or even put it back in its place. Now we have no dishwasher for over holiday and an old dishwasher sitting in our kitchen. A similar issue occurred with our washer installation 2 years ago. At that time we be called our regular plumber to install our washer. He laughed and said they get a lot of business from people duped by NFM appliance installation. DON’T BUY APPLIANCES FROM NFM. SALESMEN WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING FOR A SALE!! It is now 3 hours later. I called NFM to tell them that the dishwasher installer did not shot off or cap off kitchen sink water supply correctly and is leaking into my floor board causing damage. The customer service rep said he left a message for the head of installation and was hopeful someone would get back to me. See pictures below. Day 3. NFM has not come to fix the damage to our water pipes the caused Sunday. Even with putting a pan under the leak, water has now soaked the floor boards and is moving under our kitchen cabinets. Hopefully we can get a plumber to come in this morning to repair the damage caused by NFM installers known only to us as “2F450” on the NFM documentation. See new pictures below.
The sales team is lovely and super friendly. The store is beautiful and well organized. The delivery team doesn't care to deliver to pet friendly homes. They came to deliver and setup a $6k+ bed, got half the stuff inside, then informed me they couldn't set it up today because the room needed cleaned out. I asked for specifics as I had moved everything out of the way, took the old bed out, etc. His reason? Dog hair. There was dog hair on the floor and that made it unsafe for them to set it up. My husband told them to return it then and the gentleman informed us he wouldn't come back in the house if he didn't have to even though he was in the process of bringing the mattress inside. So, now we wait for NFM to send a second team out to collect the first half they left behind because of dog hair. Pictures of our unsafe dog hair bedroom for reference.
My wife and I were in looking to replace our refrigerator. Bill Bier was the best! Seriously. He approached us with great demeanor, wasn’t pushy, but cool. He was able to go beyond our questions with information we hadn’t even thought of. Came back the next week and bought that fridge. I was in retail corporate management my entire career. We will recommend Bill to all our friends! He is a fantastic representative for your company.
Ralph Jacobson is an awesome sales person. If it wasn't for him helping me when I bought my Kitchen appliances I probably wouldn't have came back to buy my washer and dryer. Also the two delivery guys were awesome as they took great care and respect when delivering and installing my washer and dryer. Thank you for hiring such awesome employees
Salespeople are all super friendly. Definitely won’t let you get by them without asking if you need help with anything. Bill helped us with buying a new mattress and bed frame. Couldn’t be happier with how helpful he was. Walked us through everything, demoed the adjustable bases, and explained all the mattress protector options. He was never to pushy or trying to up sale us, Highly recommend Bill!
