I have had a great experience with Nevada Health Co Op. They have always helped me navigate through the information needed. I have switched plans several times to get the right one for me, and they have been so helpful, patient, knowledgeable and willing to satisfy all my needs. All the staff there have been exceptionally nice and extremely patient. The wait times on the telephone have not been excessive. . . . with the volume of clients, it has been very reasonable. They always have my best interests in the forefront. I recommend this program to anyone who needs it.

I don't know what everyone else was expecting from them but they are what they are and that's fine with me. They're not great but they're cheap. The cheap option means you may have a longer wait time one the phone and you may have to choose form a smaller pool of providers, but at least I can afford it. So if you're willing to put up with some hassle to save some money, go with them. If you want the Rolls Royce experience with impeccable customer service, find a private company and pay 3x as much.

I've had this insurance pretty much all of 2015 and now, in the past 6 weeks or so, they seem to have stopped registering that I've sent my monthly premium and I can't get my prescription filled. I've called 4 times, have waited on hold 25 minutes at which point the call just ends. I've tried using the option of leaving my number for a call back but no one ever does. Is there more then 1 customer service rep? What is going on?!?!

In the last few months that I have dealt with Nevada Health Co-op, they have been friendly, helpful, and overall, it has been a pleasant experience. From calling customer service with simple questions regarding coverage to the more complicated signing up for my own plan after aging out of my parent's, Nevada Health Co-op has been exemplary. I admit I have a minimal understanding of medical insurance, and the employees at Nevada Health Co-op have done a wonderful job of answering any and all questions I have in regards to insurance and my policy. I signed up for my own plan with an agent at their office, where I was greeted promptly and assisted with a smile. The agent, Dawn Brnilovich, was incredibly helpful and understanding as she assisted in signing me up for insurance through the exchange. She thoroughly explained my options and helped guide me towards a plan that I otherwise would not have thought of, but better suited to my needs. The only complaint I have is trivial, and that is the music while on hold for customer service is truly, truly awful.

I cannot stand this Mickey Mouse, fly by night type of company!!!! They did not initially disclose that they were the insurance company I would be dealing with, they presented themselves as if they were simply an "enroll or enrollment agent!" Now that I have a policy with them, they have informed me that they do not have an internet portal available for me to make my monthly premium payments!!! REALLY???? They gave me a few options, #1. Mail a check or money order, (I have never received a bill or invoice from them) #2. travel across town to their office and walk-in a payment, #3 make a payment over the phone, by giving my credit card to a live agent over the phone. REALLY????? YOU'RE KIDDING RIGHT???WE'RE IN 2015!?!? THE INTERNET HAS BEEN AROUND FOR OVER 15YEARS!!! I HAVEN'T USED PERSONAL CHECKS IN OVER 5 YEARS!!! WHO ARE YOU GUYS? WHERE DID YOU COME FROM? So now, I have to try to switch insurance companies (which can take 30days), in the mean time, if I don't pay my premiums via the above methods, my policy will be canceled AND I AM PENALIZED ALL THE WAY AROUND!!! Dealing with this company has been frustrating and confusing from the very beginning! I recommend you stay away and do business with a real company like a Blue Cross Blue Shield or a company who is much more progressive than this. I have now paid policy premiums for three months and have been unable to use my policy during this ridiculous process!!!!
