This WAS my favorite Chinese take out for many years until the new owners. I recently ordered over $65 of takeout and was only given one small bag of noodles. When I asked for more I was told only one bag per $50. What?? I was feeding four people! When I complained I was begrudgingly handed one more. The food, while still good, is not as good as it has been. I will not use them any more. They just lost hundreds of dollars from a longtime customer over a bag of noodles.
Best chicken wings mushu beef , classic fried rice in New Jersey. Always fresh and tasty. The service is A-1. Don't miss the chance for great take outFood: 5/5
So I do think the quality has suffered slightly. However I still love this place. I will only order from here if I have Chinese food. My suggestions are: -beef fried rice -chicken lo Mein -egg rolls A lot of other good things on the menu, but those are just my favorites that I will always order.
We ordered several vegetarian items. The restaurant put meat in some of the dumplings, which unfortunately we couldn’t realize until we bit in. We asked for that item to be refunded, and they explained that they can’t refund singular items; they would have to refund the full order and reprocess a new order without the mistaken item, which is fine. They did not refund the original order, they just charged me again, essentially double charging me for the night. After waiting a week for anything pending to show up in my statements, I talked to the restaurant and they told me to call my bank. Of course, the bank said there was nothing pending and that the original charge wasn’t voided. When I went back to the restaurant with this information, they conversed with themselves about how it was probably my fault they didn’t put the phone on mute as they discussed. They told me if I wanted them to fix their double charge, I had to go back to the restaurant in person and share my credit card statement with them as proof. The audacity of the restaurant to error twice, and then try to fight their way out of their own mistake. Somehow a business that processes most of its payments on credit cards “isn’t able to look at their own transactions”. My family has been customers for some time, and it’s a shame we won’t be going back. The poor treatment of customers outweighs any positive experiences with the food. In the end, I had to go through my credit card company and dispute the claim.
So disappointed !! I don’t think I’ve ever had “horrible Chinese food “ we usually love this place . Must have been an off night ordered chicken and broccoli the broccoli was under cooked and the chicken was hard and very little sauce it was almost non edible ….
I am sorry to say that my first encounter with this restaurant will be my last. First, the individual who answered the phone to take my order was very short with me and the seafood dish I ordered had imitation crabmeat which the description did not specify. The only thing I would order again was the general tso chicken and that was not enough to get me to order again and it was very pricy for the quality.
The first time I went there I paid over the phone and the young boy thats there tried to make me pay twice. Yesterday I called the boy who answered the phone was rushing me and rude. He told me 25 minutes for garlic chicken and a appetizer chicken wings. I get there 30 minutes later, pay with my card then he tells me it will be a few more minutes. I said are you kidding me. So I wait and 2 other people walked up and gotten there food. Then he tells me that they don't cook the wings before hand. Why? You should of said that before i paid you. In all if I could give a negative number i would. My experience is horrible and i won't be back.
Yes they only have take Out! Thats fine but it should be noted on line: we had 2 dinners. Both were sesame shrimp. Pros, it was done quickly and the shrimp were large and tender. CONs: you could barely see or taste sesame seeds, the sauce was thick like tar. The sauce was unbelievably sweet. The chili peppers were dried up and tasteless. The broccoli was barely cooked and was tasteless,Lastly, the portions were small. It looked like they made one dinner and skimping shared it between 2 dinners. Always went there years ago but won't return.
Last time I was there they were slammed and had a very long wait to pick up a phoned in order. But that is a measure of their popularity. The food was very good and it's the only time so far that I've had that experience.
I love everything about this place! You cannot find a better Chinese food place if you are looking for the classics. Their lo mein and general tso's chicken cannot be beat and the staff is always so friendly when ordering or picking up.
