Good place to experience a wide range of distilled creations. Easygoing space and staff. There was free sampling when visited and a group outing. Everyone was cool and the ambiance felt really relaxed without effort. Look forward to seeing this place mature and grow.
Arrived at 745 and they were closed. A paper sign in the window said they close at 730. I get it, but if I were the owner I'd correct the time on google. Anyway, their summer gin is awesome so I'll be back next weekend.... before 730.
I love New Columbia and their fun local take on gin. I'm a particular fan of the spring/summer and the vermouths are spectacular as well. Be sure to try the all-DC negroni and if you're feeling adventurous, take home one of their experiments, like the collab with DC Brau or the Aronia.
1st distillery in DC since prohibition. Nice tour. Good gin.
Visited from out of town on a Saturday and were delighted to find free tastings and tours. You can also get cocktails on site that highlight their products. Loved the variety of gin and vermouth! Super friendly staff and a great vibe. Got a couple bottles to take home.
Amazing experience. Went for a birthday celebration and the owner was so nice and looks like Dave Grohl! You can taste all the different gins that's they make and then they have a few drinks that you can buy. You get tickets for the drinks and they are reasonably priced. Street parking.
I visited Columbia distillers on a cold winter day. Their place was packed! Fun music greets you as you enter and they have samples of various types of cocktails. Make sure to visit the other distilleries and breweries in the area that are all within walking distance.
