There is 2 massage therapists there, one name Bai pronounced Bye and a girl that goes by Sophie. They are both very intuitive and super amazing. Always the right pressure and deep enough if that's what you want. I've been there many times and will keep going ! The first time I went there, Sophie knew exactly the part of my back that could use a little cracking and she went right for it. She released so much tension, in a gentle way and in no time. She also worked some area long enough to make a difference. Many other massage places apply only little time to the place that really needs it the most. Not there, they always have been right on point ! Enjoy your massage !

I come here whenever I am in horrible pain and Mr. Gi always gives me relief. Sometimes it takes 2-3 treatments but really helps managing arthritic conditions and chronic pain. I alternate with massage elsewhere chiropractic and yoga but the fact that I can walk in most times and pay $50 for a treatment that includes cupping and electro-stimulation means I can go twice in a week if necessary.

Sophie is the BEST accupressurist. I went in half dead and not able to walk. When Sophie was finished with me I felt alive again and could walk straight. She gave me good advice on taking care of myself and even commended me for having nice soft feet :-

Good neighborhood store for Chinese herbs. They also have an acupuncturist on staff, but I practice acupuncture myself--Daoist acupuncture on Union Square West-- so I don't need one. You can get all the basic here, for pain, stomach upset, etc. They have herbal patches as well as pills and liniments. Good neighborhood resource!
