Mission

Established in 1998, our school is a member of the American Montessori Society.
New Horizons Montessori is a private non-sectarian pre-school serving the needs of children, ages 2 months to 10 years.Our school has two campuses serving the Princeton area. We have a campus in Princeton Junction, near the train station and the other in Montgomery near the Princeton airport.

Infant programs are only available at Montgomery campus, however both campuses serve children between the ages of 18 months and 6 years during the regular day program. The Before School and After School Programs are available at both campuses, however, only Montgomery campus has programs that are available to children up to the age of 10 years.

As a Member school, New Horizons Montessori is required to have all classes led by an AMS credentialed teacher.

Security and cleanliness is one of the key features of our environment. Our schools are not located in areas of traffic and shops, but in lush green surroundings with beautiful play areas for all the children to enjoy.

The Princeton area is home to many multi-national companies. In addition, the demographics of the area cover professionals belonging to many ethnic and cultural backgrounds. This is reflected in the population of our two campuses. We have had significant number of children whose parents’ native lands are:

China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Iran, Egypt, Tunisia, Kazakhistan, Turkey, Israel, Germany, France, England, Switzerland, England, Holland, Portugal, Hungary, Brazil, Chile, Peru… to name just a few.
Our Montessori program has been enhanced with foreign languages like French and Spanish, art, science, music, gym and environment literacy activities. After completing our Kindergarten programs our children can move on to First Grade in other Elementary schools.
