Fair prices, quick turnaround on alterations 1 week compared to other tailors in the area 2+ weeks, friendly and helpful staff.
I see a bunch of negative reviews here. I don't know. I bet most dry cleaners are gonna be about the same in terms of damaged stuff, stains, etc. I personally have never had a problem with that kind of stuff here. Quite to the contrary, they have always been great about pointing out potential issues before taking a problematic garment. They have been more than willing t try creative solutions to saving nostalgia-pieces, stuff that should be tossed but we can't bear to part with. And the don't try to run up the till, they focus on the most cost effective appropriate solution With me. That's the thing. They are nice to me. Maybe it's because I interact with them a lot -- I work from home and walk the dog past their store pretty often. I learned a bunch of Chinese working in Asia 20 years and it still comes in handy. These guys are Chinese and every time I go in it's a party. They talk to me like a person and I respond to them people. And then I stand there and watch a procession of rude, insecure, over privileged Park Slope come on with a hostile, preconceived notion that they are being ripped off, cheated or conned. That these nice hard working people are just waiting to SCREW you, lose your designer dress, stain your brooks brothers shirt. Come on. It's a neighborhood drycleaner. They love or die by repeat business. It's the ONE business that can't just close up and vanish without leaving lacunae throughout the 'hood. Ever see a group a people milling around looking lost when a dry cleaner closes? It's the closest most of us First Worlder's get to seeing a the aftermath of a suicide bombing. Anyhow, yeah. I like these guys. Chillax.
"New" Hudson Cleaners lost the pants to my husband's suit and did nothing about it. Actually every time my husband goes to resolve the issue, they say the manager is not there. How convenient that there is never someone around that can resolve the situation. We left a letter for the manager explaining the problem with our contact info - no response. Beware of this place - it's not worth it.
These guys are some of the nicest and hard working people. Their customer service is impeccable and they remember your phone number by memory. They’re always on time
My new favorite dry-cleaning and alterations place. Kind, talented people and a quick-turnaround.
I love these guys. Friendly/prompt/reliable.
