It's a very nice place although it's kind of small. Kean University had its graduation for Master's and doctorate there. Sadly being that it was on the smaller side there wasn't enough room for that many guests. That being said building is very nice and very well design. Seats are very comfortable and the sounding is good all the time. There is also a very good bar in the building for after events. Overall while not my favorite such venue it is a very decent place. Would recommend

Just came to see fluffy live, it was a great show. I sat in the third tier and still had a great view. Everyone in the theater was very helpful and showed me where to sit. There's a small cart food vendor in every level where you can get water, soda, pretzels and popcorn. I thought there would be food like chicken or hotdogs, but there wasn't. Parking was great we parked right in front where there's a parking lot and it costs us $28. Overall just a great show and time. The traffic after you leave is bad, but that's everywhere after a show.

Celebrating the elders at a jazz extravaganza on my birthday I shared with a legend to the Newark community and jazz scene, Ms. Dorthaan Kirk. And special guest Cassandra Wilson in stylish and modern red dress; amazing voice, performer, and gorgeous sistah to boot that every Black woman hopes to emulate when she grows up. The special place that Newark is was presented at this awesome venue. Huge, with multiple (couldn't count how many) auditoriums, restaurant and bar and several mini bars as well; you can buy a glass if wine and get it in a to go cup! Elegant, memorable place, but the staff, particularly the amazing women at every door, directing folks, suggesting restrooms during intermission with the shortest wait time/lines. Felt like aunties making sure you fix up nice before you head back to your seat. For one amazing evening, Newark was home at the New Jersey Performing Arts center. Be back real soon!

Great parking. I love the option of stairs or escalator from the parking garage. The actual building was pretty and clean. Well staffed for the concert I went to. The snacks were pricey which is to be expected but holy inflation. Anyway aisles are good. I would love to come back to this location.

Staff was completely oblivious to what was going on and borderline rude. We had to wait on multiple lines just to get to our seats. It was like they had never had an event there before. We were there for a graduation ceremony so they were aware of the crowd that would be attending. I would not attend a show or another event there. Concessions were wildly overpriced and they had one employee serving a full venue. The only reason I gave two stars is because the actual venue is very nice.
