The staff did an excellent job in keeping you safe and giving advice on what to do in certain situations. Waylon was our guide and he did an excellent job keeping us safe and we had a close call, but we worked as a team and we made it safely. Very knowledgeable on what is around us. Also had an incident with a flat tire and Luke operation manager helped me fix the flat. Great staff all around. Don't hesitate and sign up. Also, please do tip your guide. Your tour guide does a lot of work and risk life keeping you safe. We will be back. Also, the shop inside does have shoes, sunscreen, bottle of water and etc... for a reasonable price.
Our family had a great time rafting with New Mexico River Adventures! Our guide Kyle was great, especially with the kids. Would totally recommend! We had so much fun the first day, that we booked another course the next day. We had a great experience and memories to last forever!
We had a fun, eye opening raft ride with our guide Kennedy on the Rio Grande. The rapids were never threatening, but we felt we were actively participating in the details of our traverse, heeding her commands about when and how we needed to paddle. It was a pleasant way to spend our time on the water. We had an informative conversation with Kennedy along the way. Checking in at their office was simple. This was well worth the time and cost, most of an hour north of Santa Fe.
My Friend, Caroline booked a full day for my birthday. Isabel was our guide. We had so much fun. I had done the box and race course, but not that middle section. It was amazing and I felt so comfortable with Isabel. She was safe, informative and FUN!! Looking forward to the box next year. Absolutely recommend this company and our guide Isabel.
We took this river tour and had a blast our guide was so informative, sweet and just a awesome person. We have a special needs son and he was so great with him as well. We definitely will be going back and requesting Ben as our guide. Everyone from start to finish were wonderful people. We highly recommend it if your looking for a fun, cooling time in New Mexico. Thank you again so very much! See yall soon. Ben we will be back.
What a great way to spend a full day! Maddie was our guide and made our trip educational, light hearted and fun! We had a blast! All the instructors are awesome! And for full day they cook you a delicious lunch!
My family and I did the 3-day multi-sport trip with NMRA. We were lucky enough to have Auston and Sheldon guiding our group and I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything! Perfect mix of fun and adventurous but still safe. The guides take care of everything and they make sure you feel confident that you know what you need to do and you’re ready for the next activity/rapid/etc. We made the trip to NM from NJ and it was well worth it!
We had a wonderful time! All the guides were so friendly and knowledgeable and the river is absolutely gorgeous! If you are planning on booking an adventure I would offer a few suggestions. 1. Book, pay and sign your waivers online. It makes the check-in process so much quicker and easier! We even pre-purchased the photo package and our pictures were ready and waiting for us on a flash drive by the time we got back from our trip! 2. Seriously consider wearing long pants and a long sleeved rash guard. There is so much water that you can't keep sunscreen properly applied. Despite applying sunscreen all day long the majority of our group got sunburned. 3. If you want to do a kayak float either get a group together of just kayakers or consider a private float. I would not suggest trying to mix kayaks with rafts. It ends up being pretty miserable for everyone involved.
This was our first rafting experience, and we had a blast. Dan was our guide and he did great! The equipment was in good shape. If you are looking for a great time you should give New Mexico River Adventures a shot!
The best of the best, I wouldn't raft with anyome else. We were there for my daughter's birthday trip and her first time rafting. They were great with her and us as well. The lunch is a hot meal not a cold sandwich Their guides are experienced and know the river. If you're on the fence on who to go with look no further than New Mexico's River Adventures!!! Oh and buy the picture package
