Superb hidden Gem. Dark atmosperic interior just like real traditional bars in Ireland. Roaring fire so great escape from a rainy day in Jersey City. Very friendly staff. Menu set to 3 staple bar meals. I elected for a cheeseburger which was delicious and made from scratch. Good selection of beers. Well worth a visit!
What a cool place. Like a neighborhood dive Irish Bar, but with actual Irish beer. Very limited food menu, but excellent quality for that they have. We were enjoying a long weekend in the neighborhood, and stopped in the tavern on the first night. We tried to find another like it, but could not. So we ended up there every night! Excellent Irish beer and nice people.
A traditional Irish pub experience. Truly a hidden gem. Great service with limited food menu with half-pound burgers, hot dogs, turkey, bacon and grilled cheese with Veg.
Best burger in town...pair it up with a few Yeungling and you're set
The classic "hole in the wall" spot but it's amazing, fun, and fantastic service. The drinks are great. The bartenders are friendly. The food is wonderful. Especially the burgers. The crowd is jovial. They have a backyard patio area for eating and drinking. Decor has a wood barrel look. A fantastic local hangout spot drinks and chill.
Tremendous burger. Great old school atmosphere and vibe. Met owner Bobby, and he spent more time than he needed to talking to us at our table, explaining their 50 great history. Can't wait to go back.
Great food, good prices and friendly staff. Only complaint I have is the TVs are kind of outdated and too small. Maybe upgrade the TVs to be a little bigger and newer? Not asking for huge 50 inch TVs but something bigger than like 24 inches would be nice lol!
Gem of a place, love how cozy it feels once you step in, even the outdoor set up is really nice . Felt similar to being in a pub in Ireland or small town in the UK. Dog friendly too; would highly recommend coming here.
Love this place and the bartenders they are awesome Burgers and turkey club are my top two favorites to eat here
I found the people very warm, from the locals and from the lady behind the bar. The bartender looked after me by enabling me to watch the football you guys call it soccer, English Premiership Will defo do food next time, looking at the pics it looks really good. Defo going back to the bar/pub
