New York Bagel 1

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. I was visiting Monmouth for a youth soccer game and went into this restaurant to get coffee and snack while I waiting 45 minutes for the game to start. I walked in and asked to use the restroom before I ordered (I had been in the car for 2 hours). The employee told me no, it was for customers only. I nodded my head to say yes, I am a customer. The employee said no I was not and I needed to leave. I politely tried to explain that I wanted to eat there and she started yelling at me and told me I needed to stop causing problems and leave. I have no idea why I was treated so poorly, but I left and found a different place to grab a snack. What a horrible first experience in Monmouth.

My late wife and i used to visit the shop, and she was able to buy their raw dough to make the best home made pizzas. We made it a habit to visit them whenever we could. Its been years but i am so happy to see that they are doing good. I'm gonna have to go see them again. They are the best!!

Great breakfast spot but you do have to wait a bit if the place is a little crowded

Lived in Monmouth for awhile, and had heard from friends over the years how good this place was. Finally got a chance to try them this morning. I got the New Yorker bagel, with an onion bagel. Phenomenal bagel!!!! Crispy onion pieces on the outside, with a good chewy interior, like a bagel should be. Stuffed with lightly smoked salmon, capers, red onions, tomatoes and cream cheese. Just a really incredible bagel....so big I could only eat 1/2 for breakfast and saved the other 1/2 for lunch. I will be coming back soon.....they had some really good breakfast specials, and several varieties of bagels. Excellent bagel place!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!
