A labor of love and a true experience. You have to go and see the bakery. The tomato pie is delicious and special. Can’t wait to have it again.

We purposely stopped here for the square tomato pie. No place to eat inside, so we got a half pie to go. It was served warm and was a bit more on the doughy side than I expected. There was no cheese that I could see or taste, and the minimal amount of sauce had a good sweetness to it. A very good, unique neighborhood tomato pie! Definitely give it a try if you're stopping by New York Bakery!

Tremendous Italian bakery,the owner is always working ,baking and even at times, is at the front counter, Bread and every thing else is delicious, prices are pretty reasonable to,South Philly!

The rolls and the tomato pie here are unbeatable. If you want quality, fresh, REAL bread this is the spot. Do yourself a favor - skip the grocery store and swing by NY Bakery if you’re in South Philly. Their bread is amazing and it’s nice to support a local, family-owned business.

Awesome, awesome experience here and delicious tomato pie! We met the owner while we were eating our pie outside and he was incredibly kind and generous... it's obvious that he is well loved in this neighborhood and it's no wonder this place has been in business for so many decades. I will definitely be back here for a tomato pie fix the next time I come to Philly! Highly recommend.

This is an outstanding tomato pie and bakery in South Philly. Very cool baking area and equipment they have inside. The tomato pies are absolutely delicious and the owners and staff are very friendly and generous.

Hands down the best tomatoe pie and bread in all of South Philly. The pizza dough is so tasty and flavourful, and the tomatoe sauce goes perfect with it. Also, the workers are extremely kind. Definitely will be back regularly. Go outta your way for this place, trust me it's worth it.

The best tomato pie I’ve ever had! I’ve been eating it since I was 6 years old. The owner and staff are friendly and accommodating. The bread is awesome too. I’m born and raised in South Philly and always make a stop there when I visit. My children won’t eat any other tomato pie!
