Great Doctors, absolutely THE WORST, positively, WORST front desk and administrative staff - top to bottom. A terrible phone system, never-ending lunch breaks, they leave early and don't bother to call forward. If they do try to communicate with their departments, the department is always 'busy,' and you can take a 'message' and light it on fire for all the good it will do you. Heaven help ye who have a regular doctor, prescription, or appointment. Find another office, any office.
Dr. Melanie R Graber is awesome. She is a very patient person who genuinely cares about her patients. She is diligent in making sure my health is the best it can be. Also the staff is professional and kind. I would recommend Dr.Graber to anyone seeking a kind, compassionate, and brilliant doctor!
This office is an absolute mess. My appointment was for 1:45, I arrived at 1:30, but wasn’t seen until 2:30!!!! The wait time is mind blowing and far worse than any other NYU Langone locations I’ve been to I’ve been to 5+. Never going to this location again!!!!!
My 11:30 appt was not seen until 1pm. The staff is unhelpful at providing any updates, instead just making you wait endlessly! Unprofessional and the worst medical care
Made an appointment on the phone well over 24 hours ahead of the appointment was called the day of the appointment asked to do them the favor of coming in early, I did so and when I got to the office I was told the doctor doesn’t actually take my insurance. What is going on here?
I never post any bad reviews online but this place got me so angry that I have to post this. My 88 y/o mom was scheduled for blood work at 160 west 26 st at 10:50am. When she arrived she was told that her appt was scheduled for the main hospital which was wrong because in my chart the appt was very clear and confirmed. She called me n informed me of the situation because she was told to sit down to reschedule. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor instead I was transferred 4 times and not to a supervisor each person had a different poor excuse and no one took responsibility for the error. What they should have done was to look in my chart see that the appt was there and give her the test regardless of the error and not reschedule the appt for another day when in fact the error was theirs not my mothers. To make an elderly frail woman go through that type of shenanigans and unprofessionalism is not acceptable. She had been told not eat 6 hours prior to the appt and shad not taken her meds because she had not eaten anything. Therefore I told her to leave. I had to rescheduled the appt and never got the supervisor. This is why I am posting this review. No one should be treated that way n patients should not have to reschedule a simple blood test that some incompetent person did not resolved on the spot. The patient had an appt scheduled n confirmed on my chart for that location end of story. I did not get any clarification as to why this happened and at times they tried to make it look like we made the mistake unbelieveable! Three weeks before she was scheduled for an echo dortor wanted it done asap but they claimed they had no open spots and was scheduled for two weeks later, three days later she had another appt with a different doctor who wanted the same test done and miraculously they had space to do it the same day. So what's going on here? Unbelievable!
Excellently service,no waiting time to see the doctor Doctor was very nice and explained my condition and what remedies to take to improve. Would return to see doctor
Doctors are stellar but the organization has pitiful care for patients. I am in pain and bleeding. And Nyu Langone scheduling department would not schedule me or put me though to someone that would help. Calling in to not get help, instead given the run around with not sight of a solution caused me great anxiety and consternation all day today. Hospitals systems like this should remember that they are supposed to care for people not treat us like numbers or cases, or annoyances- which is the attitude of the scheduling phone operators. I rarely post any bad reviews online but this place gets me so bad that I have to post this. The facility is nice and good location but my doctor is so bad. They would ask you to go in as much as possible so that they can earn your office visit money even when it’s unnecessary. They charged me $300+ for an unnecessary office visit that my doctor asked me to schedule to just spend less than 10 mins to tell me eat less sugar and fat. Why do I have to go in for this kind of thing? I didn’t request to go in. After I complained, they reduced it to $150+. But still! Also, They have this online portal so that you don’t have to go in for small stuff. I asked to get a letter to prove I had Covid. They doctor again keeps saying schedule an appointment. Really? I asked why do I have to go in person to just get a letter. He replies with no answer but saying please call to schedule an appointment. I almost feel like the doctors there have some kind of quotas to fill in as many as office visit to reach their monthly goals or something. Anyways, I will switch my doctor for sure after this.
I have been coming to this location for about 3 years now to see my cardiologist Dr. Han, and now my new PCP Doctor Goldstone. They're both great doctors and respond back to my messages through MyChart. When you exit the elevator the ladies in the reception area are professional, and also the two ladies who are in the waiting area are also nice. I never really had a problem speaking to any of the staff members. Keep in mind sometimes people have bad days, so they might just not be having a good day. But, yeah so far the doctors who I have seen with NYU Langone are great doctors.
