New York Wedding Ring

This was literally the coolest thing I’ve ever done. Period. To be able to take the time with my now husband and create one of a kind rings from reclaimed jewelry from both sides of our family was truly an experience I’ll never forget. I’ll cherish my rings and the memories. Highly recommended.

Sam is great. I highly recommend making your own wedding rings with him. We didn’t have any prior experience and he walked us though step-by-step until we had a beautiful finished product. When i tell people we made our wedding rings ourselves they can’t believe it because they look so professional. Super nice guy too.

What an unforgettable experience! My fiancée and I attended a whole day workshop at NY Wedding Ring and it was clearly one of the coolest, most romantic experiences we had in NY over the past couple of years. We built each other's wedding rings under the guidance of Sam, the owner of the studio. We built the rings from scratch, as we wanted to see every single step. That meant the whole process lasted slightly longer, which was even better! We particularly enjoyed melting the gold and adding bits of copper and silver to create our own customized alloy based on our color preferences. Using the torch to melt the alloy was so much fun. Sam is also very conscious about safety, so we felt comfortable all the way through even though we had no prior experience in jewel making. We were also very interested in the wealth of details Sam provided around the science behind the manufacturing process. It made for a very instructive and romantic day at the same time. Sam is incredibly knowledgeable, patient and passionate about what he does. We will never forget this day thanks to him!

Fantastic experience with a true professional. I had so much fun making my fiancée's engagement ring, and she loves that I made it for her with my own hands and one of my mom's diamonds.
