I recently had to see the Oral Surgeon for an extraction. I was really particular and skeptical of who I wanted to perform this procedure. I'm also in dental field for almost 40 years In which the staff had no clue. I must tell you the office manager Marie was the reason why I decided to be a patient there. Marie runs that office very well. I experienced her professionalism, efficiency and competence. Customer service has diminished greatly in most businesses but not in New Port Dental. It's refreshing to belong to this office. Monique the other front office personnel also had a spectacular personaliity,also the back office which is also ran efficiently. This is one of the best Dental office I've been to since I stopped working in the field which I'm content with. I recommend this particular facility. Great customer service very clean and professional. Marie is very nice and was informative about my treatment. She answered all my questions.
I am VERY pleased with the professional and proactive high level of care I received my first visit. Dr. Castellanos and staff were friendly and knowledgeable, giving clear instructions on hygiene. Plus, the wait time was minimal. Would recommend this office.
Staff was very kind and welcoming. My appointment was at 2:30 in the afternoon for a basic cleaning. I was taken in the back quickly and given x-rays and then was seen by the dentist and he went over what he was going to do and left. Staff was repeatedly apologetic on the wait which was very kind of them. I had another appointment for work at 4:30 and it was now 4:10 and I asked a staff member if I would be out of here in the next 10 mins. He said no. I left and had to reschedule my annual cleaning. Again, staff was kind but this company needs some time management or staff assisting for more support. A basic cleaning should not take 2 hours. I was not a walk-in patient. I had an appointment. All and all it sucks to have to reschedule an appointment I was present at and for what I thought I made more than enough time for.
This particular establishment on Autocenter Drive was so unprofessional.The Dentist there chose his own preference out of convenience for himself and had no interest in working with us on any type of solution for my sister's pain without charging us more than what the original procedure was. The staff in front were also just so condescending to someone who had never been there before. Not like that should matter. Just an awful place.
Front desk lady from 2/25/22 with the dark hair is extremely bad mannered. She was rude to my mom AND yelled at her after she didn’t disclose what kind of payment they do or do not accept; and demanded the other party on the joint account she has a card for come to approve the payment. This is unnecessary and uncalled for. After my mom told her not to yell at her the woman had the audacity to say “this is how I speak” ? Prices were also expensive compared to other places for the same treatment. Not returning.
I had a wonderful experience at my appointment here this week for a broken bottom molar. Although there was a slight wait to get my new patient paperwork from the front desk. To give them credit the phones were ringing constantly. The techs were great and took time to make sure I was comfortable during the x-ray process. The Dentist took his time and I was not uncomfortable with the exam. He explained everything that needed to be done. Since the broken tooth is a bottom molar I will be seeing the surgeon next week for extraction. He did not want to try to remove it and cause damage, which I appreciated. Asked to make sure that I wasn't in pain or discomfort which I am not. The check out process was great as I do not have dental insurance at this time. I had a very nice experience. The lady at the front desk where I signed in was very nice as well as the lady who took my X-rays. The dentist was very polite and friendly. Definitely a good experience for my first time at my new dentist and I appreciated that.
The new managing dentist is not good with people. He diagnosed that I needed an extraction and took it very personally that I didn’t want to have it done immediately that day. I simply told him I was not prepared to have an extraction today but I would like to schedule an appointment. He said well so you want to be in pain for the next three weeks is that what you’re saying you want to be in pain and he said this all with such sarcasm and distain I don’t think I’ll be returning to the dentist office at all
I have been coming here for about 15 years and have always been satisfied with the treatment provided here. My kids come here, too. The staff is friendly and the whole facility is neat and clean. The wait time isn't a problem unless something unforeseen happens to a patient in front of you and the doctor or hygienist needs to spend more time than anticipated. I would expect the same if it was me in the chair. They make sure you get the best treatment and results. I highly recommend them.
