The park has old chairs strewn across it's entirety. No one picks up poop, it's half grass, half mulch? I feel fortunate that it's completely fenced in though, and I haven't seen anyone else there, and I go twice a day while in town. My dog seems to love. Could definitely use an update for the benches. All in all, it gets the job done.
We’ve had great experiences here even when it’s just us and the puppy with no other dogs around. Our puppy got excited from all the scents. She was tired and content by the time we left.
My dog doesn't even like to go here. We live less than a mile away and make the drive to Melville for a clean, busy, and fun place to play. Maybe the ramp closures will change everything.
Great fenced in space. Just no scenery and never see other dogs when I happen to go there. This is fine place; just looking for more in Newport
Closer than Portsmouth and appropriately maintained...some muddy-ish spots in the center. Plenty of chairs. Bring your own water, just in case.
This place is a terrible mess...can't believe it is maintained at all.
No.Thank.You Trashy, not taken care of in any way shape or form. Bullied to go to small dog side “unless you want your dog hurt”. Wouldn’t go back!!
Small dog park near the rotary...
This place is the best! The people here are wonderful and the dogs are great! Just make sure when you go to be mindful of others and their pups, clean up after your pet, and to always be watching your dog to avoid conflict, no one wants to pay unnecessary vet bills.
Kind of trashy now. I started going 5 years ago when my dog was a pup and it was nice. Now it turned into dirt and mud and this certain group down there sit in a circle and do not watch their dogs. Kinda sad. Portsmouth is much better
