I thought this was just a convenience store like 7/11. But nope, it's better. They have a whole section for groceries. They have almost anything you need or want. You can get in and out quickly and easy.

I travel from Adam's Morgan to this store, for it's great service and wide selections.

This has to be the best neighborhood corner market I've ever experienced. The store is always spotless, well stocked with brand names and reasonable prices. Nice display of merchandise. The managers and store personnel are professional, courteous and helpful.. The wine selection is very well stocked with brand names like Kim Crawford and Kendall Jackson. I don't know any other corner market that carries such high end wines labels. They also carry butter, cheese, onion and fruit. My favorite surprise was when I happened to see a bottle of Worchestershire next to a bottle of Grey Poupon mustard. When the CVS across the street did not have toilet paper during the beginning of COVID19, this store had it. It's such a best kept secret. The best part aside from name brands and finding my favorite peanut butter is that the market offers UPS pick up or delivery. So progressive for a neighborhood corner store. My all time favorite. STAY AWAY: If possible, I would give this store 0 stars -- because this place is a Public Health Risk. Do not enter the store because they do not enforce their sign on the front about Masks. I was quietly trying to pay for a purchase for my family, and without my saying anything, I was I was corned in front of the cashier -- No Way to Escape -- by a obviously well known local who as proud not to Wear a Mask, and MADE A BIG THING ABOUT IT. I just wanted to pay and get out, but this guy would not stop -- hitting me/others up for money in front of the cashier. Unfortunately, I had just started to buy the stuff, and was in the transaction starting to pay, and the guy made what appeared to be a well-time approach on me without a mask, and talking about someone helping him out. I do not mind helping out others, and my wife & I do so regularly even folks on-the-street we don't know. But to have this happen, unexpectedly, inside the store at the line for the cashing for paying customers was a real risk for me because of my recent open heart operartion. I told the guy that, but he did not understand, and the staff looked at me without any help as this guy was all over me and everyone else, making it what my other Biologist's called a VIrsus "Cess Pool" -- I have several degrees in Biology among other things. The store is OUT OF CONTROL, and the STAFF DO NOT KNOW HOW TO MANAGE THINGS; the Store's SIGN is a JOKE. it was at 5PM Wed. 9-9-2020, check the video tapes. I cannot believe that these store managers allow intoxicated customers to enter and STAND in front of the COUNTER, very CLOSE to OTHERS, without a MASK . I was in-line, and was called up front to pay, and the intoxicated customer, and his friend who wore a mask, and the 2 attendants also wore a mask said nothing, while the intoxicated young man's friend consoled him and told him it was OK not to wear a mask. When I mentioned that I had recently had a heart operation and a pacemaker put in, and my Doctor said to avoid people without Masks -- Like the PLAQUE literally. Again, the intimidated staff did, nor said anything -- they did not seem to know how to handle unruly people, which is required in DC stores selling beer and wine. I got out of their as fast as I could, but could not do so quick enough because of the unpleasant surprise of an unruly drunk customer, and a a staff of 2 people/cashiers unable to handle the situation. In DC and MOST US States, it is against the LAW to have OBVIOUSLY INTOXICATED Customers inside thier stores and buying more alcohol. Worst Still, having obviously drunk young folks, aggressively approaching me & others for money, while paying in-line, and not wearing a mask while hitting me up for money, and in-my-face the whole time, was too much. I am usually quiet, and do not say anything to anyone, but when countered in a store by someone who will not give me some DISTANCE, and is NOT WEARING A MASK is to MUCH. I repeatedly TOLD HIM -- and everyone heard it it is a small store -- that I have a BAD HEART, with a PACEMAKER, and a HEART/AORTA VALVE Replacement, and no-one did anything. My voice was so loud, that I clearly saw that everyone HEARD MY REQUEST FOR DISTANCE/SPACE and MASKS, but they did NOTHING. Apparently, people PEOPLE REGULARLY ENTER THE STORE WITHOUT A MASK. My friendly encounter there was with another person, obviosly, INTOXICATED AND SPEAKING LOUDLY. The young man went on about his right not to wear a Mask -- despite the STORE's SIGN that said YOU HAVE TO WEAR A MASK. But, the non-mask wearer had obviously drunk alcohol -- slurred speech and speaking loudly -- and INCREDIBLY got in my face when I tried to pay. I tried to keep my distance, and he refused to stay away from others, and denied the need to wear a mask -- even when I pointed out that clearly everyone else was wearing one. This is NOT A STORE THAT IS SERIOUS ABOUT TAKING CARE OF ITS CUSTOMERS. STAY AWAY. Bill E. Brookland, DC

They always have exactly what I need--perfect last minute stops to pick up a missing ingredient from a recipe. They're well-stacked, even with some fresh produce. Friendly folks. I'm glad they're in the neighborhood.

Salami, cheese, eggs, frozen spinach, fresh jalapenos, flour, brown rice ... this tiny grocery store packs in the good stuff. Cold cans of veritas coffee, beer, wine and frozen shrimp. Good prices, too. Neatest, most well stocked shelves I've ever seen.

Owners and other sales associates are always nice, they even will let me in one time 5 minutes after closing! Way better selection with the essentials than the CVS across the street!

This store’s employees continually do not wear masks while serving customers. Superspreader ticking time bomb.

Crappy selection, steep prices. Go next door to the CVS. At least their Coke isn't 6 months out of date.
