Dr. Nicholas is the most admired physician I’ve ever encountered. He is accommodating, very accomplished, top’s in his field of sports medicine and orthopedics. I was able to secure an appointment quickly and didn’t have to wait long. Best cortisone shot I’ve had over the years; no pain. His bedside manner is perfect.
Dr Nicholas is an excellent doctor and helped me with orthopedic issues. He sent me to physical therapy to learn the exercises. I feel much better and have resumed normal activity and I do lead a very sports filled life… I would go back if I injured myself again!!
The staff and Dr. Nicholas were very caring and showed that they cared about treating me in the best possible way to make me better. Despite being a surgical center, they recommended PT on my knee and the less invasive procedure on my right shoulder. Highly recommend them.
My visit was excellent. Everyone was very nice and attentive. Dr. Nicholas is very warm. He did my first knee replacement about ten years ago. He’s the best! Ready for the second knee now.
Dr. Nicholas was very professional and had excellent bedside manner with my dad. His hip replacement went very well and he’s been pain free since the day of the surgery. Very thankful for him.
Dr Nicholas is a star. Precise with his evaluations and strong in surgery. His top to bottom care is fantastic and the follow up and PT suggestions will have you back at whatever you enjoy doing quickly.
The office moved very fast. People were nice & knowledgable. This will be my 3rd surgery with Dr. Nicholas Im a Martial Arts Instructor
My experience with Dr. Nicholas was not good. I went to him with a painful hip, thinking I might need surgery. He took x-rays and told me I had osteoarthritis. He did not recommend surgery immediately but prescribed 6 weeks of physical therapy. I did this but it did not help. I then returned and he took x-rays and said I would need a hip replacement. He did no physical examination, barely spent 10 minutes with me, gave me no explanation of what type of surgery it would be. He just told me to "schedule the surgery with my assistant." I got the impression he had zero concern about my situation and just wanted to operate. His office is like a factory: schedule the operation and dollar it up. He spent about 20 minutes TOTAL time for two visits. I decided to get a second opinion and went the the Hospital for Special Surgeries. The doctor looked at the x-rays and told me I did NOT have osteoarthritis after all. The hip bones were not even rubbing against each other. He thought I probably had bursitis and recommended an injection of anti-inflammatory medicine and told me to see how it went. I have now been totally out of pain now for more than six weeks, walking without any discomfort. I may need another injection at some point, but I avoided an unnecessary surgery for a condition I did not have. Dr. Nicholas could not even READ the x-ray correctly! I realize others may have had a good experience with Dr. Nicholas, but I would urge anyone seeing him to get a second opinion before letting him cut you. This is not a conscientious physician who cares very much about his patients.
Very busy office; at same time, very efficient. Easy to make appointment and was seen on next business day. So far, so good.
Broke my funny-bone reading libelous trash written by this doctor’s publicist. What a joke. How can you trust this man with your body when he doesn’t have a trustworthy bone in his body? So many great doctors in this neighborhood, I strongly recommend you go elsewhere.
