Nine Stones

Nine Stones Spa is amazing, one of the best massages I’ve ever had Ingrid was excellent; the facilities are also top tier, plus you get to use the sauna for free. I will be back. Nine Stones Spa will be a regular for me from now on.

I recently went to get my nails done before my wedding. The facilities are great and I enjoyed my time there. My pedicure was amazing and my feet feel great. I was disappointed with the Shellac manicure. It only lasted about 4 days before it started lifting and peeling. It looked great for my wedding day, which is really the most important part, but I wouldn’t get it done again. I would’ve gotten the same results with a regular polish manicure. I will say my natural nails look good and damage free, which is a definite plus!

First time spa person and everyone made me feel so comfortable. I am already looking to book my next appointment Andrea! This experience was more then once in a lifetime. It was eye opening and a lifestyle change for the better <3

Great atmosphere, sauna was very relaxing, the wet scented towels in bathroom are a very nice touch. However, the service I received was poorly done. I got a shellac pedi and after looking at it at home it is blotchy and looks like it could use a coat or two more, I can also see a few specs of the old polish I had on. Disappointing for how expensive they are. I don't normally write reviews but I think it is important when spending a lot of money on a service. Go for the atmosphere and sauna, I hear the facials are good too!

Services are nice. The facility is nice. Being in downtown Portland, they can't escape the noise. Prices are mid-higher end for the area.

I had my first waxing appointment with Jenn today, and I can say this was the most pleasant waxing experience I have ever had. She was thoughtful and meticulous, very proud of her work and it shows with the results! Her personality made me feel calm and relaxed, and we had such great conversation that I could barely notice any pain. She was lovely and I will definitely be booking with her again. I’ve had a few other services at Nine Stones in the past and I’m always impressed with the facility. Very luxurious, they make all their clients feel special and calm. I’ll continue to return to Nine Stones for all of my salon needs!

Amazing. Facilities are spotless and services are well worth the money, especially since you can chill out in the sauna before and after your massage and drink as much tea as you’d like. My massage with Christina felt like a consultation with a healer!

I came in for a 90 minute massage. The place is and ambience are nice. Liked the women's locker, is very nice and the sauna is a great addition to it. The massage was regular, nothing very special to make me want to come back. Besides: 1. I asked for a male massage therapist, 2 weeks prior my appointment. But was assigned to a female massage therapist. While it isn't a huge deal, but it would be appropriate that the spa let me know in advance that they wouldn't be able to provide a masseur and see if I was ok with that. 2. The room was cold, I asked to up the temperature, but was told that it wasn't possible. 3. Massage therapist's hand were cold! Freezing in the beginning and just cold the whole time. 90 minutes. 4. The oil used was cold as well in addition to cold hands. 5. After the full body massage with oil, the masseuse moved to massage my head, with oily hands. When I came in I was hoping to enjoy and relax during those 90 minutes of massage that cost me $145 +tip. Instead I was freezing the whole time and annoyed by every cold touch of the therapist. This experience wasn't just disappointing and felt like a waste of time and money, but I also came out of there very annoyed. The facility has to take measures to have adjustable temperature in massage rooms to make sure the clients are comfortable. Also have the oil warmed up, and have the therapists warm up their hand prior the session. At this point I wouldn't recommend this place for a massage, nor I would come back.
