Nisshodo Candy Store

I didn't give it 5 stars though my family might. We went for the chichi dango because it was recommended to us by family, but I didn't eat any yet. It's tricky to find and to park at but there's still a line to get in so it must be good!

A must-go in Oahu. Along with the classic chichi dango, we got kinako chichi dango and the manju in two flavors: lychee and lilikoi. Everything was great as usual. If you get the day of your flight to the mainland they make great gifts! They have gift boxes for this purpose.

This is a hidden gem of a place. I loved the liliko’i mochi the most. We just got one of each and sampled most of the offerings.

The mochi is excellent! We tried the lychee, coconut, green tea and the kinako and loved them all. I still have the traditional daifuku to eat, but am positive it will be a awesome.

Friendly staff. A healthy variety of Mocchi to choose from with reasonable prices. Location is a bit hard to find.
