As a State Certified Home Inspector, Matt Drifmeyer evaluates homes for condition, safety and suitability to live in. This is typically done prior to purchase but can be done at any time.
Noble Home Inspection is based in Fairfax Station, Virginia and service the counties in the metropolitan area for a 50 mile radius. Anything beyond that please call. We also have a home base in Northumberland County and with a little prior planning can service the counties of the Northern Neck.
I am a Virginia State Certified Home Inspector, a Certified Radon Technician and a Certified Member of the American Society of Home Inspectors.
Prior to this career, I owned and operated an auto body repair shop for 10 years. For health and happiness reasons I sold that business; however, the attention to detail and inquisitive nature I developed while writing collision estimates is helpful in the home inspection business. I have always been interested in how things work or why they don’t, so now I use that interest to help me inspect homes.
Having always done all my own home additions and remodels, converted garages to living space and even restored and built cars. This does not make me an expert in any field, but it does prove my knowledge and understanding of the mechanical and building theories involved in homes.
I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in communications. My hobbies include vintage cars, animals, gardening and almost anything outdoors.
The purchase of a home is a major commitment, the process is complex. Opinions and emotions only make it harder to make a sound decision. My unbiased, educated opinion clarifies one aspect of this process.
My mission is to help save you money, prevent unsafe living conditions, provide you with powerful negotiating leverage and help you avoid frustration and doubt when purchasing your home.
