Incredible for audiophiles that want to enjoy audio previews of sonus Faber, focal speakers hooked to McIntosh tube amplifiers. Ron is an excellent trained professional, super nice, and hosts musician playing live in the evenings. He allowed me to truly explore his set up. Highly recommended for anyone that is serious about high end audio in NY.

The minute you step into Noho Sound, you can't help but gawk at the gorgeous space, collections of classic technology, and of course the insane audio equipment. In contrast to the small dark sound rooms of big box stores, Noho Sound is a big, bright, beautiful space filled with speakers and amplifiers from around the world that create the best sound ever engineered by human beings. It should feel overwhelming, but thanks to Alex and his welcoming staff it does't in the slightest. Instead, they give you the chance to experience music the way it's meant to be heard with no pressure at all, making you feel like you are hanging out with your friend on a Sunday afternoon. They really know what they are talking about, and helped us narrow down a system for our space, style, and budget. There is no chance I would go elsewhere for high quality audio equipment, and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.

I was here for audition of high end all-analog gear. Ron Kain President, Noho Sound, really great guy!... played a large variety of my requested tracks and patiently answered my queries. He is very well informed about hi end audio. The gear sounded out of this world Focal floorstanders + Macintosh electronics... Intimate music venue that has a comfortable, relaxed, classic vibe. They do SoFar and Groupmuse shows multiple times a week, so the acoustics in the place are amazing as is the lighting. The interior decoration is beautiful- if you need a small venue definitely contact them. Additionally, they sell top of the line sound and recording equipment. Musicians who need to record can also contact them, I believe them may provide some complimentary services. The owners are kind and so pleasant and fun to chat with.

A great variety of brands and models to suit different rooms and homes, with staff that can tell you exactly what is appropriate for your space. Where else can you audition such a wide selection of equipment?

We dealt with Michael who couldn't have been more welcoming and knowledgeable. Great guy! The vibe of the show room definitely sets this place apart from the competition. Michael set me up with exactly what I requested and he let me control the music and the volume very rare. I hope to go to one of their live music events soon.

Spent more than hour with Ron, one of the owners, in their comfortable showroom. His vision is more than just selling hifi, he talks about music and the performances that occur there. Knows his stuff, listens and answers questions. They carry quality products for a number of budgets.Best experience I've ever had with a hifi store. Will buy here.

I was looking for great turn tables to ride the vinyl buzz theses days. Super knowledgeable friendly guys with a amazing unique showroom. They have live music event and a all around interesting vibe. I highly recommend them, f you are in New York and want to a special experience while checking out some top notch gear!

A cozy, well-designed hi-end audio store with a tremendous selection of trusted brands. Importantly, Alex, one of the founders, is knowledgeable, friendly, and generous with his time. We had a great, in-depth conversation about hi-fi that spanned analogue and digital. NoHo also distinguishes itself by sponsoring a series of live events that help build a community around music. Whereas many audio shops focus on selling products, this one strives to create memorable experiences. Thank you for making hi-end audio better, and kudos on launching a very successful music series.

This place is extraordinary to say the least. I felt like a kid in a candy store here. There is so much i thought I knew about sound that I realized after coming here I KNOW NOTHING! This place is very well put together and that staff founders are so informative and patient and have helped me put together and purchase THE perfect set up for my apartment.
