The food here mainly Korean is delicious, with generous portions
I love this place. Finally a good Asian restaurant in anchorage. The food is cheap everything is delicious the woman that always waits on us is so friendly and kind always anticipates our needs. I've never seen folding chairs or tables everywhere I sat the tables and chairs were comfortable. The portions of food you get you can't possibly eat in one setting. Please don't change a thing you have a wonderful restaurant the way it is. Very cozy very friendly never have to wait forever for our food to come out. So if the owners read any negative reviews just ignore them you can't make everyone happy. But rest assured me and my family will always eat there on family night. All 6-7 of us. I recommend everyone try it at least once and make up your own mind most likely you will be a loyal fan like so many of us are
Great food! Great service!. The menu is very basic but the dishes are delicious. I just don't understand why it's not packed every night. Can't recommend this place enough. The tempura veggies are wonderful. The gyoza fried is the best in town. And the ramen has a bit of a spicy kick to it that's wonderful. And it's reasonably priced.
Absolutely love this place. The chewy noodle in spicy sauce is just amazing! Never had a cold noodle dish like this before! The owners are very kind hearted people as well! Definitely recommend people here all the time!
The food was good, not terrible, enjoyable. The atmosphere was quite nice and relaxing, however, the furniture is sketch as all get out; sitting down on a folding chair that felt unstable was almost enough for me to walk out. The tables themselves resemble folding poker tables, i understand furniture is expensive, but i would have felt better sitting on a pile of bricks compared to that life-shaking adventure of sitting down. Great prices and fair service, not a busy spot and perfect for date talks.
Large, hearty portions of steaming hot noodles. Small dining room. Fair price, especially considering the bowls are big enough to share. Pay attention to the heat rating...spicy means SPICY here. My daughter found out the hard way and found her Kimchi Ramen too intense. The gracious server offered to remake as a non-spicy dish without an extra charge, and they let us keep both. By the way, this is not to say the Kimchi Ramen was anything less than delicious! This is the sort of business that everyone should cheer for but not enough people do. Small, local, authentic, and really good. Yet the telltale signs of financial struggle are present. It's a vibe you get that maybe the place won't be open much longer. It'll be sad if that proves true.
They had amazing service and the chicken ramen combo was delicious! It came with the ramen and a bowl of rice with goodies to flavor it, chili paste, peanut sauce, and some veggies. Very good!
I got the shoyu ramen. It's just instant ramen with a slice of bacon chasu is typically belly meat, an egg and some veggies in it. Could have made this at home for $3, didn't need to go to noodle world and spend $12.
Noodles were dyed pink and had zero flavor. Poor service. I hear they are under new management now, so it may be better.
Their noodles are so beautiful and delicious. It is a very quiet restaurant and I have no clue why, this is so perfectly satisfying. I have already made plans to return tomorrow
