Thank GOD for the competent and caring minds at Nora. I was having so much trouble getting into my dr and they suggested I go to an urgent care because they wouldn’t be able to see me until October when I called in June to make an appointment. I have medicine I have been on for years and years and since I’ve moved back home I needed the refilled here. So long story short from the moment I walked into Nora and explained why I was here they were kind and understanding and didn’t make me feel like some kind of drug addict. The NP is on her game. If they can’t help you they definitely offer solutions for how you can proceed.
Made an appt for 7:20pm same day. The young gentleman that took us back was so sweet and kind. Great bedside manner and made my son feel so comfortable. My son even made a comment about how cool he was and how normally the people that take you back are stuffy and uptight. We waited a little over an hour for the doctor to come in. The doctor was very kind, fast and efficient. Overall highly recommend this place.
First, I've always had a good experience with Nora Urgent Care. In that spirit, I would return here to change my rating and review -- if they change the policy that led to my extremely disappointing experience today. A few days ago, a fellow employee with whom I work closely, came down with a terrible flu. Today, I awoke with a very unusual fatigue but no other symptoms. Yet, I was compelled to visit Nora Urgent Care to get a flu test and take proactive treatment should the result turn out positive. Suffice it to say, I have an elderly parent in the hospital and must be extra careful to not risk exposing her to something like flu. When I checked in at Nora Urgent Care, the waiting room was full. The person at the desk declared my wait could be 1.5 hours. As their waiting room is very small and full of sick people, I was concerned about unnecessarily risking myself to other exposure. So, I asked if I could leave and come back in an hour. Her first response was that I would be removed from the waiting list if I leave. I told her that I could wait nearby, and I was thinking about the Starbucks 1 block away. She then said I could instead wait in my car, but I then explained that I do not drive. I am legally blind and had taken a Lyft to their clinic. She then reverted to her position that, if I leave, I would be removed from the list. I reiterated that I had no car in which to wait. Given no other choice by her, I gave up my spot in line and walked out. Later, I called back to appeal. The person at the front desk forwarded me to someone else, likely the Office Mgr. She was very kind and accommodated me. I was able to get my test very quickly from that point. All the staff was very kind. I appreciate it very much, considering that I am trying very hard to not expose my elderly mom to something as dangerous as flu on top of what she is already dealing with.
They are always available to meet my needs. I’ve never had to wait, when having a scheduled appointment. The staff are always professional and kind. They even comfort my 5 year old when he receives service. Anytime I need immediate attention, they are the only place I call.
Dont even bother doing an online appt. I spent a bunch of time filling out online forms just to walk in at my “appt time” for the front desk person sporting a nose ring and a fantastic attitude! LOL to tell me they only do walk in appts, or covid screening. Surely they can turn off the online scheduling? What a waste of time! Had they showed the slightest empathy or service I would just forget this whole ordeal. But because this place chose to hire someone who does not care about people. Either she was hungover or she is always this way. What ever happened to customer service? Now it is all about customer- serve us! Seriously this could have been handled in a more professional manner. Clearly this person/office simply does not care about a sick child.
Made an appointment for 9am online. Arrived at 8:50, a staff member called and asked me questions. Then proceeded in the building. Once inside I had to wait as the walk-in were taken back before me no point in making an appointment. The visit was quick and helpful!
Every one from the staff, to the nurse, to the doctor were extremely dismissive and it showed in their lack of care they provided. The girl at the front desk was extremely unprofessional. They came in and gave me my paperwork and doctors note and the doctor hadn’t even been in to see me. Once he finally came in you could tell he was in a hurry and just wanted to be in and out. They were not busy so just lazy and not wanting to take the proper time.
Thank you to Dr Wilson! I am a different and difficult case. The young lady during check in with the Aristocat sweater was so sweet and kind. Thank you to the whole team from check in, nurse, and both Dr Wilson and his student. I am a heart patient and came in feeling absolutely terrible bc I had been ill for a few days. They diagnosed me after making sure my lungs were fully clear with bronchitis and laryngitis. They both made sure I would call my cardiologist to make sure they also cleared all meds. 24 hrs later and I still can’t talk but I can breath without wheezing. They understood my wanting to go there before hospital and listened to me as a person and not just a heart patient. Thank you for your kindness!!!
Was apprehensive about getting tested for Covid. The young man who administered the test provided excellent care. He put both myself and my daughter at ease with his wonderful care and concern. His services were superb, and I highly recommend him for employee of the month.
Great care center. I like their hours, and that it is easy to schedule an appointment. The staff is super nice, and the office is very clean. Great place!
