Nordam Appliance

I normally buy major appliances from big box, but Nordam had the one that fit my exact space, in-stock and at the best price. They were very accommodating to my delivery schedule request and the crew was very friendly and professional. The fridge also works very well. Will buy from them again.

I actually got in my car and drove to Nordam to check it out. I found a large full warehouse with the owner, Wesley, on site. His prices were cheaper, he delivered upstate NY to the very obscure hamlet my cabin is in for free, he informed me of the time they would arrive and they met that parameter. They removed my old appliance, they took the box from my new appliance but most of all Wesley, the owner, answers the phone and was responsive immediately and with knowledge. I can't recommend highly enough what a life-improver this resource is. This was effortless and seamless. Thanks!!!

The prices are real but the inventory is suspect. I ordered an air conditioner online and when I called the next day to arrange delivery and get an extended warranty, I was informed it wouldn’t be available until end of the following week. I called the following week to confirm delivery and was informed everything was on schedule for delivery on Friday or Saturday so expect a call on Friday. When Friday came and I didn’t receive a call, I decided to call to find out about an eta for a delivery window. I was informed the item wasn’t in stock and no eta of when it would be available or when it could be delivered. I understand inventory isn’t completely under Nordam’s control but i think the situation could have been communicated better and the effort for communication/updates should have been on the part of the business and not the customer. In fairness, Nordam Appliance did not charge me and their policy is not to charge until the item is physically in their store. I canceled the order and went to a big box store PC Richard’s where I figure service might be more reliable. I may check out Nordam’s again but if I do, I’d probably do it in person in order to verify the physical availability of the item. If you don’t mind waiting a few weeks or months, their online shop might be a viable option but no guarantees.

Shopping from CA for a kid in the city, Nordam was in my search results with a price significantly lower than Home Depot 440 to 840 and 40 less than PCR.... and that was tax-inclusive!! Whatsmore, they promised to deliver a full week earlier than others! I ordered online on Saturday, the credit card was pinged on Monday and delivered in the window Tuesday morning. Note that my order was confirmed when placed, and without an email, I called and spoke with a man who confirmed the delivery. It was low-key, low-cost, and quick delivery. A very pleased customer!

I bought a Haier gas range on Thursday and Monday it was delivered and installed, just as promised. I was skeptical, but Wesley from Nordam delivered on his promises. Thanks you so much for providing an excellent service, I am very happy!

I purchased a washing machine about two weeks ago and must say the entire transaction went smooth. I communicated with them via email and phone and received prompt responses. Delivery was done professionally and with care. Based on this experience, I'm certainly going to buy from this company again. If you know what you want, this is the place where you want to buy from. I certainly will !

I purchased a whirlpool trash compactor - far cheaper than anywhere else I had seen. It was on back order with Nordam and looking at other sites too this model was just not in the USA at the moment due to the supply chain issues. I ordered it in February and Wes kept me abreast of the item. In May he called and said it had arrived and if I still want it it would be delivered in 2 days time. Sure enough Wes came through and delivery was super smooth and I am SUPER HAPPY with the new trash compactor and the service of Nordam. I am in NJ .

So like someone else said, I was a little unsure that I would get the product as the price seemed too good and I had never heard of this place. But they were great. I only wish I had know about this company before I bought my other appliances. Don't bother with the big box stores or companies like AJ Madison who try to take advantage of you. Give your business to a smaller company who has honest and great prices

Purchased a new LG fridge over email. Price couldn't be beat anywhere. Wes, the manager, was very helpful with lining up their curbside delivery within their delivery range to CT. I was a little nervous at first with some of the other reviews but everything panned out. There was a small issue with their truck hitting a clothes line but it was needing replacement soon anyway--Just something to keep in mind if your area is height limited for delivery. Truck is taller than it appears. All in all I'd definitely recommend them.
