Nordstrom Towson Town Center

Good selection but high prices. There’s a Nordstrom Rack downstairs if you want better deals. They have high end items which is great if that’s what you’re looking for. They have clothes, accessories, and home goods. There aren’t that many people working there and the store is spacious.

Nordstrom is one of the most popular department stores here in the United States. And for me, the first time I stopped by here to shop was back in August of 1999. Being a first-time shopper, this department store was way too big approximately 197,158 sq ft, according to one of the store sales associates and felt like a maze; I had to navigate through every floor to find what I was looking for. Back then, it was an overwhelming experience for me. Overall, this department store is clean, brightly lit, and has beautiful displays on every floor, plus very friendly store associates and tons of well-known brand name merchandise will wow you.

I had a huge job interview today. For the past three months I've been self-teaching to change my career, and when I finally landed that second interview and had to show up in person, I knew I needed to clean up and get some nice new clothes. I came in with only the vaguest idea of what I wanted, "Interview outfit." Miss Beverly knew exactly what to do, and took almost two hours of her time to carefully craft what is easily the best outfit I've ever owned. I looked good, I felt confident because of how downright professional I looked and I was offered the position on the spot today at the interview. Thank you so much, Beverly, for doing what you do and dressing me for my dream job!!

Store has minimal items in stock. Curbside pickup experience has always been a nightmare for me. Curbside pickup keeps me waiting 15-30 minutes. The last 3 times I was there they did not have any open curbside pickup parking spots open. There was no one even in those cars so they were not participating in curbside pickup. This means I had to sit in front blocking traffic which is unsafe for all. Quality control issue right there. The MAC makeup counter enevr has enough staff.

Came here to exchange two fragrances I received for Christmas Laperla via the ladies fragrance counter. Explained to the saleswoman what I wanted to do. Even told her if they didn’t have the correct fragrances I desired by this brand, to just put the value on a gift card. Lady was rude and wasn’t listening to anything I said. When she came back from the register, I learned she had returned the value of the fragrances to the original card in which the items were brought. I was completely floored and upset. Not only could the error she made not be reversed but the person who got me the gifts was notified via the return of cash to their card and went off. This was a huge embarrassment and mess. The department manager came and just offered me a heartless “sorry” and let me know the salesperson made a mistake. I stood there wanting to know how this will be rectified. It was my anniversary and not only did I want to look good but I wanted to smell amazing. She stated there is nothing she could do now. This is unacceptable! They couldn’t even produce a receipt for the transaction the saleswoman had processed. Nordstrom is one of my favorite places to shop and I never had an experience such as this with any form of return. One thing is for sure… No more! I will not come back here. Nordstrom Towson, you dropped the ball here. From the poorly trained saleswoman, to the lack luster manager…. Horrible!

Nordstrom's was great I got a couple pairs of jeans some tops and a coat. It's a wonderful place to shop the people are helpful and cheerful. Had a fun time with my sister

Never a bad experience but sometimes the staff seem a little annoyed you're buying something. Lots of great choices, and everything doesn't cost a fortune, but it can add up. Actually one of the best places to shop in Towson Town Center.

Update: The tailoring team got in touch with me quickly and made the fixes I requested. The price remained the same but within 20 minutes of arriving I was refit and my alterations were complete. The team was polite and understanding. I'm happy with the outcome and experience. I took two dresses here for alterations. Overall, the process was quick and the staff were polite and helpful. The alterations to be done were hemming each dress and stitching the necklines so they had less-deep v's. Dress one looks great! Dress two is hemmed well, but came home with nothing done to the neck and a pin still in place from my fitting. For the price and ten days to get everything done, I'd expect it to all be done. Pros: The services completed were well-done. Staff were friendly and helpful. Process was simple and convenient. Cost and timeline were reasonable. Cons: Not all services were completed. Clothes came home with a pin still in place. $53.00 to only have part of a job done isn't worth it. I'd rather pay more somewhere else, take a little longer, and ensure everything is done.

Placed a recent order online at Nordstrom. I prefer to pick up in the store in Towson as I often find additional items to purchase. A part of a recent order was late in getting to the store. When I returned from a short trip they had returned the items I had ordered and would charge me a much higher price to reorder them. Customer service at Nordstroms overall was poor. This is not the customer service oriented Nordstroms I have shopped at in the past. They have lost a lifelong customer over 3 pairs of shoes.

Exceptional customer service in the men's department. We had a fiasco using the Indochino custom suit service. Suit did not fit, and the suit could not be made again in time for our wedding. Vickie Meyer came to our rescue!!! She is a fabulous stylist and pretty much saved our wedding. Thank you!!!
